Silverstein Eviction Law, Tustin CA

Despite all the negative comments, I decided to work with Mr. Silverstein office. Sabrina raised her voice at me on the first conversation. I sent a check to prepare the 3- day notice. Mails from LA county to OC county get delivered only within 2 days. For some reason the mail I sent to Mr. Silverstein office takes more than 4 days… the point is the office staff must’ve read all the negative comments and they have been trying not to be rude (I noticed a little bit change of behavior) but still they are unprofessional. They don’t listen to customers, they try to fool them. If you try to receive a certain answer they hang up on you, that was they did to me. I don’t recommend this office, don’t waste your time and money.

Mr. Silverstein has been in business for forty years and is an excellent attorney. His staff is a group of young professionals and are an asset to Mr. Silverstein. I am very pleased with the service provided by Mr. Silverstein and would highly recommend him.

I used this law office because they were the only ones who would return my call and they said they could evict a sub-tenant I didn't know about (hence, 2 stars instead of 1).

Unfortunately, their staff is unprofessional, and while I understand they're understaffed (their words) and there's a backlog of eviction cases in the courts, it doesn't give them the excuse to lecture me about calling in to check on the status update of my case that I paid for.

It took them 2.5 weeks to even start my case even though they collected payment already, and they completely forgot the details of my case even though I talked to Mr. Silverstein twice on the phone, and answered their extensive questionnaire, just to have to again spend another 45 mins.to answer a similar questionnaire because they cannot keep track of their emails.

It was painful to have to recount the details of my case over an over again to them even though I put it clearly in writing (twice), and then for them to have to lecture me as if it's my fault for not keeping things organized for them.

You also have to check the status of your case yourself. They won't notify you. It's on you to make sure your case is actually going through. But you may also offend them for calling in on the time their different staff members told you to call back on and then get another lecture for calling too much (even though the other person said to call that day).

If I wasn't desperate I wouldn't have gone with them. Now, I'm just at their mercy since I've already started the case, and I'm more than half-way, so I'm stuck with them. Don't use them unless it's seriously an easy case, or you're in a city/county that won't make it difficult for you. Take your over $1k and give it to another lawyer's office.

I am trying to meet in person with Mr. Silverstein, but his staff is saying that he doesn't meet with clients.

Would you like to hire an attorney who refuses to answer your questions but is quick to collect their retainer and still wont answer your basic questions? This is an eviction factory with no regard for clients.

I had a great experience getting consulting from this firm.
They get to the point and are transparent.
I hope I don’t have to use them in the future, however if I ever have a problematic tenant I know who to call.

Read all the NEGATIVE reviews before you hire this attorney. VERY RUDE and unprofessional staff. Some lady says she knows what she is doing basically cut me off when I try to ask a question. You'll send them an email and have to wait 3 to 4 days to get a response. Then if you call them.you get kicked back to the end of the line to wait another 3 days. It's been 4 months since I have started an eviction and because they didn't do their job. I have to start the process all over again and wait another 3 months to evict. Do your research.this firm is a joke. Will definitely be filing complaints with the State Bar and BBB.

I have used Mr Silverstein’s office twice and both times they were efficient, effective and affordable

Is ashamed that people like that exists, I wonder if he knows that being a good person in this world is more professional

Attorney Silverstein is the ONLY attorney who did not waste our money and got our deadbeat and destructive tenants out of our home. They had not paid rent in 7 months and their lease expired last year. Due to our governor, we could not evict this family simply on the basis of them not paying rent. Attorney Silverstein found a legal way to get these tenants out. Unfortunately they fled to an unknown location and totally trashed the interior of our property. I hope attorney Silverstein can locate them and collect the rent they owe us.

Amazing Attorney! I hired him for an eviction in Tustin. My client was dealing with a family member who refused to leave after a 60 day Notice was given. Steven was fast and his office always knew what was going on. I am a 20 Year Real Estate agent who's dealt with many evictions and this was my most pleasant Attorney experience.

Mr Silverstein is quick, efficient,  professional and straight to the point. I worked with him on a harsh case trying to evict a tenant who made my life a living hell.

Everybody else I talk to said this is going to be hard and you will have to prepare for a long process and paying a lot in attorney costs.  Mr Silverstein and his team helped me getting rid of this tenant so quick I was surprised. And the best part was that it cost me much less than I expected since he charges package prices.

I see a few bad reviews and none of  those did apply to me. Mr Siltevstein can seem very rude but he is NOT. It's just the way he communicates, plus he is not a therapist who has time listening to all our problems, issues and BS. Time is valuable and he wants to do the best of it. All you can and should provide is valuable information.

Give him a chance and you will be in good hands. If you are lucky you might see some of his great humor as well. He is funny which is rare among serious Attorneys)

Hoping I don't have to evict again but if I do this is the go-to-attorney. I  highly recommend Silverstein Eviction Law.
