This is very nice library. Building is nice and big and they are very well organized. Well maintained and plenty of parking spaces. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Horrible library staff, harrasive, constantly watching like Big Brother through their camera system. Disregards service dog regulations. Totally authoritarian. Apparently, the only power they get to weild is while they are are work. Mini Fauci's all.

Clean up or replace the carpet. The computer area does not smell ok. Also Simi Valley start to recognize what is real life and create programs for homeless people.

From a programs standpoint especially the childrens program, this library is amazing. Also has the friendliest enthusiastic staff ever. They also provide the materials for kids to do projects, even during covid. Also check out the mural in the kids area and see how many stories you can recognize.

I have been coming here since I was a baby. Although I am 14. I am very pleased with the Simi Library, and it's staff. They are very kind and generous to people who have big fines like me. One time I had a fine of $50 and they agreed to let me slide on it.

Shocked how quiet and easy it is to work here. They absolutely need power outlets at the work stations. It's insane they don't have them available so I'm deducting one star. Otherwise, this is a great spot to get some work done and far better than any other library I've been in. Don't recommend sitting close to the kids section. There's no noise policy and they scream their heads off. Definitely isn't like the old days.

Very friendly staff and is clean. Very glad to have a great library to work, study and to read. I would recommend to everyone all ages. Again very happy with results.

I usually come to this library pretty often. Although the employees are never present, it is usually very quiet and a nice place to come and focus on your work. However, this occasion there was an extreme amount of children running around and i could not get myself to focus what so ever. After waiting for multiple hours for the kids to leave, which they didnt, i went to a local starbucks instead after being frustrated for so long.

The SV library is big but the internet for general public is extremely slow and always stops working. The library allows tutoring in the adult area (it is already a smaller area) compared to a larger area for teen and kids. The library should make improvement on internet speed and a better classification on tutoring that really bothering others who need to a quiet place to read or study. No private tutoring should be allowed in the adult area of the library.

I frequent this library often. Actually since I was a kid. Currently there is a wide selection of books, interesting activities for children on different days (see schedule). As well as a quiet learning space with rooms designated for for studying. Staff is very helpful as well!

Nice open library with a polite staff, plenty of space and seating and they allow covered drinks. Minus one star because the internet is abysmal. It barely functions. I could not get logged into several sites I use because the network was so slow. At time I believe it comes to a complete halt. Minus one star for allowing tutors to teach children in the open area of the library. I was next to 4 simultaneous independent verbal tutorial sessions. You had better have ear plugs or music to cover all the chatter. It is strange because they have several enclosed area that could be used for this activity. Finally they have very few power connections. There are 4 work stations with power. Most tables are not near an outlet. Bring an extension cord or you might be limited to your battery.

Not happy with my past experience. My first and last time going to this library. Loud and not a lot of book options to choose from.
