My husband and I had a weird experience at the optometrist we went to in Grass Valley last year, so we checked out Site for Sore Ryes in Auburn for our annual eye exams.
Despite being a chain, the site was run like a personal business. The staff were warm and friendly and even smiled! We appreciated that they didn't come across as trying to sell us something we didn't need.
The optometrist, Larry, was super chill yet professional and explained things clearly. He's been in this business for a long time and knows what he's doing. I highly recommend this Auburn location.
Dr. McPhaill is wonderful! He does a very through exam and provides lots of information if you are interested, which I am! I have never had trouble with my insurance here, another plus. Very happy customer.
My first visit here, Dr. McPhaill performed the most thorough eye exam I have ever had and explained everything as he did the exam. Everyone in the optical side was nice and helpful as well. Amazing selection, I think the prices were reasonable for what they had, definitely not Costco. I’ll let you figure out what that means. Yes I would recommend them.
