It wasn't as over crowded as I thought it would be. The parking wasn't the best, I didn't appreciate waiting over an hour to get into the park. The parking was messed up, we had to park in the dirt. The parking ain't managed correctly. Having us park in the dirt was unnecessary. We could have parked closer. There were a lot of empty spaces. You would think that magic mountain would spray something on the seats. That being said how come none of the trams were running. None of the rides had appropriate covid19 measures. Good thing I'm fully vaccinated. The staff were wearing mask, but spacing between guest was out the window.

Limes are long and hot and broke down often on our visit. Got frustrating getting close to the front and the ride closing or people cutting. It seems like a lot of people are rude.

4th of July was poppin'. My advice when you come on a holiday. Get early and leave late, so you can avoid the traffic.

Incredibly long lines, food is too expensive to buy, souvenirs are mediocre. The lack of a cohesive theme and ambience really ruins the fun feeling you might get at Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm.

The rides are fun but short, nothing too thrilling except for "X2", which quite frankly needs a warning/notice about your head smashing back and forth between the back of your seat and the bars at your side.

Feet will hurt, take breaks.

A massive positive is the small forest like aesthetic they have going on, it's much better than bad attempts at a Steampunk or Superhero theme. The "nature" is nice, although it quite seeming like a desert outside of the park.

The employees are largely nice or decent people. But you'll occasionally meet the mean one.

Other than all of these things, this park can be fun on an empty day, which are rare and hard to calculate/assume.

Bring your own water, snacks, and again, take breaks. Don't eat a large meal before hand, you will most likely vomit.

We stay there 1.5h in entrance to the park and there no parking space. And I will never go to this trash place.

Yah the rides are fun but the whole system doesn't work for anyone, Especially after opening up the workers dont know what their doing (most)

I believe that because they offer food with some pass add on, they closed a lot of food spots, creating very long line, so they don’t have to fill some orders. It’s ridiculous how hard it is to get food or even refill the drinks that are refillable.

A great place to spend the day. The workers are friendly and helpful. Lots of rides for all ages, and now they are open every day (365).

We went around 11 to 6 on a wednesday and it wasn't as busy. My friends and I were able to go on some rides, we had a lot of fun, even though some rides were unavailable. The food and drinks are too expensive, which kind of ruins the fun but we were able to leave and come back to the theme park.

Loved that there are now rides for little ones. The Justice League ride was awesome, but think was too intense for some kids.

Our most recent visit brought back memories from when I was a little kid and we had visited this park. It was tons of fun, tons of rides, and overall the wait for each ride wasn't too terribly long. I feel as though the ride operators who load guest into rides could be much quicker, but safety overall should be the top priority.

Once you become a teen, there is no better theme park to go to. This coming from a guy who just hit his 30's.

Best theme park I've been to. So many roller coasters and so many of them are brilliant. Don't miss X2 and Goliath but it's pretty much a total waste if you miss the Twisted Colossus that's the best ride I've ever had. Wow, period. So long and so many twists and turns. The time you go along hehe other train is so cool you will probably end up riding this one twice.

Had a great time. Rides were amazing. Would be a perfect 5 if I felt the upkeep was all the way. Needs Disney level upkeep.

Great theme park! Definitely get the yearly pass. It's not expensive and it works for both Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor. I recommend getting the meal pass as well, it's only a few dollars extra and it covers both lunch and dinner. Also, be sure to get the parking pass as well since parking is $25 each time.
I tend to avoid the roller coaster in the summer since it's super hot. I just go to hurricane harbor instead. Yes, it's super crowded, but the wait wasn't too bad.
Overall, it's great fun and entertainment for a good price!

Ok, story time.
My family and I decided to take a trip to California because I recently graduated from college. We had our days planned out and decided that our first day would be spent at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Our day started as one would expect at a high-traffic amusement park. We stood in lines and got on rides.
We finally get to the ride that we had been anxiously awaiting for: the Tatsu, where you'll fly at the speed of fear. The wait was short and before we knew it we were climbing into the ride and then flipped on our bellies. Everything was great-until it wasn't. My brother and I watched in slow motion as our (only) rental key flew out of our dads pocket and miraculously landed and STAYED on a platform. There was a platform in the air yards from the final landing platform where we would be getting off the ride.
We get off the ride and immediately approach the ride operator. He directs us to guest relations where we explained to them EXACTLY where the keys were and had even gone on the ride once more to confirm. We were instructed to fill out a lost item report, which we did. This was around 3PM. We were told that once the park closed at 6PM they would be doing a track walk and would return all lost and found items to the front entrance by Will Call. We received our confirmation emails and tried to go back to enjoying our day.
We distracted ourselves by going on more rides and tried to distract our dad because he obviously felt responsible.
When the time came for them to close up the park, we waited nervously by the front entrance and Will Call area. We were joined by others that had also lost valuables in the park. We tried to joke about it and said that we were the "sad souls of Six Flags". Some were fortunate and left with their belongings, others were not so lucky. Unfortunately, we fell into the latter group.
We were told that the keys weren't found (but two men before us that had also lost their keys on the same ride had their keys returned). We walked away in shock and tried to figure out how if we told them exactly where the keys were, they couldn't find them. We had no way of getting back to where we were staying and at this point and we were freaking out to say the least.
I re-approach the counter with my younger sister and mother and ask the man once more if the keys had been returned. Here is the conversation:
Us: "Hi, we are the people looking for the keys from the Tatsu. Have they been found yet?
Him: "They already did the track walk and they didn't find anything".
Us: "But we told them exactly where to look". At this point I step in and explain where the keys were and that we confirmed by going on the ride once more.
Him: "Oh, yeah we don't send people to look somewhere if it isn't secure".
That is fair. Ok, cool.
But why were we not told this sooner so we could start making arrangements to get us back to where we were staying.
Us: "So we are just stranded here? "
Him (and I quote) : "Yep".
This left a foul taste in our mouth. Now I have had a few hours to reflect on the happenings at the park and I understand this guy probably makes minimum wage and was simply trying to go home. Trust me, I have been there. However, I don't understand how when the last sad souls were turned away and had to leave without their phone (even though they were tracking it and could show them where it was) the man closed the window, the gates to the park were locked, and everyone left. We were quite literally the last people left at the park. There was no security and no staff around. The number for the park is only operational during park hours. We were stranded at the park for hours trying to figure out what to do with our rental and how to get a replacement key and how to get back to where we were staying.
While the happenings were unfortunate, what was even more unfortunate was the lack of support from Six Flags and the fact that we were left on the premise in the dark with no way to get home. I sincerely hope that you find a way to never let this happen to any family again.
