I don’t usually write reviews but SIXT made me do it. They are the best place to rent a car at San Francisco airport and the nearby areas period. I booked a car which wasn’t available when I got there, Ahmad at the counter and manager Reza made sure I got a similar car which was even better than what I booked. When you have a great experience with renting the car you get to focus on more important things like enjoying the travel with family and friends!

Mr. Reza and his team at SIXT gets 10/10 from me!

Elvis was the only great part of the Sixt experience in San Francisco, he would get 5 stars. In general I completely accept alternative cars of comparable booking class and those examples were listed in the booking. But a completely different car class which would not accommodate our car seat, passengers and luggage is completely unacceptable. Then having to beg for any available larger car which could have been booked at a cheaper rate than the reservation booking and charged nearly double the price is just a joke. Should have stuck with Avis or Hertz at that point.

I've been a loyal SIXT customer for more many years now but ran into some issues with my two last rentals. You know when you're in good hands when things go wrong but they make sure you're taken care of.

The team at SIXT SFO has gone beyond my expectations by doing everything to make sure my experience is superb. The staff there has been extremely thoughtful and made sure I'll keep being a SIXT loyal customers for many years to come.

If you're having a hard time choosing where to rent your car from in the Bay Area, don't think twice about renting from them!

The process of getting my car was incredibly fast and the agent, Evelyn, who processed everything was really friendly and helpful. I was in my car within 20 minutes of getting to the Sixt location at SFO. The car was an almost new BMW 3 series and was incredibly clean. I will be a Sixt customer for future rentals.

We were over charged a full day because of leaving the lot 30 minutes later. We had to change cars, because the first car had damage to the hood. There's No place to call for support.

Go see my man Raza. He provided the best customer service and I had the best experience renting a car. I will always book my rental car from SIXT from now on just because of Mr. Raza. Thank you!

Opening hours is very short (1900) and the "out of office hours" service number is not answered.

If I could give Sixt rental car co. 0 stars I would. I wish I had read other reviews I would have steered clear of them. Horrible c/s-they wouldn’t help. They rob you blind. I prepaid through Priceline a set fee-Upon completion of my trip, about to board on my flight I noticed another charge that they were trying to charge another $230…Called c/s immediately, said they would fill out a complaint ticket…as I was waiting I heard the agent talking to someone else as he was typing…he then hung up on me. I’ve had better experiences trying to buy a used car. RUN FAR from Sixt car rental…RUN

We have used several different car rental companies throughout our travels but Sixt was not only the cheapest one but also the best experience. We reserved a VW Jetta and got a free upgrade to a BMW 330I, we didn't even asked for it. Outstanding customer service from the beginning to the end! We will only use Sixt from now on!

Shoshana was awesome! She was so helpful and kind and she made our experience so simple. Renting a car at an airport can be overwhelming but she made it a breeze and her excellent customer service made all the difference. I will definitely recommend sixt to anyone! Great experience.

Fraud! Do not book!
I booked a car in September. It cost me $1673 for a 3 days trip. Plus they never gave me my $200 deposit back as promised. There is nowhere to call or to contact. They just make it difficult so you give up.

Shoshawna was really great in helping me out, very accomodating went out of her way to exchange our car due to some tail light problems, i would recommend them with other people:) keep up the good work

We made a specific vehicle reservation request for a BMW X4 with Christopher Yu at the airport Sixt. Christopher made it happen! He did fantastic customer service and direct coordination, both in person and via email. Outstanding experience! Thank you Christopher!

Amazing cars, drove a brand new BMW and loved it! Perfect service at airport office. Thank you @Evelyn Rivas. She speaks fluent Spanish, which also makes it easier for Latin tourists!:) super satisfied with our experience.

SIXT is my goto place from now on to rent a car. I had a stressful flight to SFO and had a long day ahead next day. Mr. Reza at SIXT SFO Airport took all my stress away and provided me with a great comfortable latest model car that made my whole journey a whole lot comfortable and worry free. From completing the paperwork to getting me the car, Reza took care of all of it. I am super impressed with his professionalism and customer service skills. That’s customer service done right and all car rental places should learn from Mr. Reza and SIXT. Definitely recommended!

Multiple times Michael attempted to add extras on after I said no. And when I called him out on it he didn’t apologize or say it was an accident. I observed him doing the same thing to a couple who did not speak English well. I won’t rent from Sixt again.

We were traveling from North Carolina to San Francisco. We prepaid the rental for 10.31st thru 11.06th; picking up the vehicle by 10: 30am (PT) on 31st. Unfortunately, American airline canceled our flight. Our arrival was changed to 11: 30ish pm (PT) on the 31st. SIXT would be closed based upon our new arrival timeframe.

As soon as our flight was canceled, I called SIXT to explain the circumstances, request adjustment to our reservation and requested a refund of the 31st.

I was denied this request. The representative & her Manager stated that i made a binding agreement with SIXT for the 31st thru 6th and i should contact my airline for a refund of the 31st. The Manager offered to cancel my reservation and explained the cancelation fee would cost 50% of prepaid reservation. (SMH)

I kept the reservation, picked up car on the 1st of November and returned on the 6th.

Will not use this company again. Just not worth it. The policies have no consideration for unexpected events.

What an amazing staff members at San Francisco airport Sixt car rental! Su made my experience easy and even gave me vacation destinations to drive to! She was super professional and FAST! After a long flight I didn’t want to spend too much time at the register to get a car. On the drop off Mr. Rezo took care of us like a true gentlemen! I use car rentals on all my travels. Sixt is the best so far!

The staff here are amazing! I initially had some technical difficulties with my online reservation this week, and they were able to resolve my situation even when the main customer service hotline could not. Sixt is always a better experience, both in terms of price and service, than anything else in the airport garage. Shoutout to Su upstairs on the 4th floor and Chris in the garage for their patience and expertise! The best at SFO!
