Sizzler - Merced

First time experience, it was soooo good. Very friendly staff. Good food. Has my favorite kind of soups and drinks love this place

Had a very dark dirty feel to it. Paid 17 dollars for salad bar although there was no desert like the menue said. Salad was floating in water. Waiter was nowhere to be found tables around us were filled with dirty dishes. I wont be foing back.

Used to drive all the way to turlock but this restaurant has had an improvement in customer service and food has ben great will return

It was awesome. I are the whole thing. Oh so good. Thank the cooks and the help was so nice and proper. Didnt wait long for anything. Love it and we will be back.

The Bar is now open, BUT it not the same, no more chicken wings they have chicken nuggets, the prices went up it was $50 for 1 person. Not to mention the 3.5% surcharge they are now charging. Found out the surcharge is for the pay raise they gave them.

Awful experience for the second time. The cashier was so rude and didn’t want to give my 10 year old daughter a new plate since the one they gave her was filthy. I had to go ask for it she gave it to me while rolling her eyes. Than they gave us the wrong soda and my sister went up to ask for the correct one. Lexanne (cashier) over filled it then slammed it on the counter causing it to spill every where. My sister told her she couldn’t take it overfilling or dirty with soda on the outside. She told her she was busy and walked away. I went up to the register and she was so rude omg. She said I was mad about the price. I asked for a manager and demanded a refund. This sizzler has the worst service and also put bitten food on the grill

The burgers are a bit pricy but they taste pretty good. My favorite plate is the steak and lobster tail with a baked potato. The salad bar has a good selection but I usually get the clam chowder or broccoli cheddar soup. They no longer have chicken on salad bar. I enjoy their soft served ice cream.

Steak n lobster dinners cooked perfectly for each of us. Manager was so gracious to a highly disrespectful guest. Never raised his voice. He tried to direct the guests to Alternative choices. The manager responded absolutely correct in every area. Kudos to maintaining good self-control.

This was a 50.00 nightmare the food was disappointing the salad bar offers chicken nuggets and pigs in a blanket for 15.99 and everything is old their ice cream offerings is vanilla in a machine that is sideways with no toppings and the 2 lemonades for 6.00 were the best thing soooo Thanks Minute Maid!

Food was good, staff was great. But it was so cold inside, and Im not one to "frozen" while eating. Party of 6 and 3 where do cold their skin was changing colors. The other 3 normally are good with the a/c on, but were cold before we finished our meal. It was crazy cold.

The steak was bland. I rarely add steak sauce to any steaks, but I used steak sauce this trip. For the price I paid I wouldn't recommend this place. Also you have to pay separately for the salad bar, which includes salad and other foods, including ice cream

The salad bar my wife and I had my grandson was just OK. The hot part of the salad bar was terrible and tne desert bar The same. They have only ice cream.

The foods in the salad bar that should have been hot was as if just taken out of the fridge and hard. The potato wedges was also hard as a rock and cold. Really bad won't go back not worth the price I paid.

Always great service and an amazing salad bar. The salad bar is HUGE! And it never ends, and it has a taco bar with chicken wings and meatballs and chips and salsa and el pastor, and guacamole, then you get soft serve sundae for dessert, you can't beat it. And the soup! I probly forgot some things, but that ok, just go, you will be very satisfied.

The Service not as good as pre covid, seems like a lot of new workers, waitresses doesn't provide the great services that I'm use to from this Merced location. It was great food and awesome service before, salad bar is not as good as once was.no more chicken wings and onion rings, salads looks old smh. In all honesty I really think when Mike and Kae left management it went down hill from there.

Lobster and steak was excellent. Friendly service, very kind. Place was very clean and nice environment. Everything I've been there it was good.

Terrible service salad bar is down to processed chicken nuggets dry taco meat and TERRIBLE service. Forget this sizzler

2 stars are for the unlimited salad bar which has become pretty pricey. For someone who advertises steak like they do you would assume it would be good right, wrong. Overcooked, cheap piece of of tough steak every time. All the seafood is way over priced for the amount and flavor you get. Be careful with the add-ons, they ask you if you want them as if they are included but they are not and they are not cheap.
