Sizzler, Modesto CA

I love the chicken here it is always very well done. The downside is the fact that the ribs they serve here are no longer ribs, they are made of fat.

Well the salad bar was okay but the tacos and the chicken nuggets were terrible they used to have chicken wings and pork butt and it was barely good but now it's not worth the money go somewhere else I'm just giving an hones review

Since childhood, this is one restaurant that has never let me down! Some of the recipes may have changed slightly to keep up w food costs, but as always I got my favorite Sizzler meal (Double Malibu Chicken) & it did not disappoint. My table of 7 (3 kids, 4 adults) were seated & served quickly & checked on repeatedly (by both servers & management alike). The soup/salad bar had little gloves to wear as to keep food sanitary & staff were constantly walking around the whole restaurant keeping things clean. I will most definitely return again!

Stopped there last night and worst experience EVER at a sizzler. Long line and for some reason, only ONE cashier who was pretty slow. Plus upon completing the order, cashier would leave register and escort party to their table, leaving register vacant. Took 45 minutes to make it thru line. Spoke with server that brings you your food, she said manager refuses to bring in adequate help.

The wait is about 5 minutes. We order, and the food takes about 5-10 minute to arrive, but they also give you cheesy bread. The food is always very nice when my family goes here.

Great experience. We ate at Vintage Fair Mall. Our waitress was Maggie. Outstanding service. Kind courteous. She took our order. Rang it uo. Was our waitress and did it all with a smile. Best customer service ever!

I go there just for the great salad bar. It's a meal in it's self! They have a great menu also!

It's a good place, all the workers are nice and don't mind getting more food filled up, unlike other buffets. EDIT: They have takeout right now and I must say you guys are keeping it up nice great job!

Steak and shrimp are fabulous, some of the best steak I've ever had has been from Sizzler. It has been this way for years, expect the best from here and that is what you will get.salad bar is wonderful too so many things to choose from. I love this Sizzler some of the best food I've ever had.

Need to 'cook' their vegetables (asparagus, green beans, broccoli, etc.), instead of just flash steaming them. Too many elderly and children cannot eat them.

The Sizzler in Modesto on Dale Road is probably one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at a salad bar they have everything you can think of to put in your salad great hot wings lots of fruit lots of eggs I love this place

I will warn you all. You better know what you want before you go in. I am from the East coast and the only time you pay for your meal first is at a buffet. Also I am not impressed by paying $14.for a 6 oz sirloin

Had salad bar didn't like it everything tasted like cardboard the fruits/veggies we're not ripened enough and then they looked and tasted old thy really need to get there things together

I love this place. They also have a buffet that you can add on. I feed my three year old and they never complain. Great tasting steaks. But sometimes the waiters can be more nice other than that I love there salad bar so many choices to choose from so many topping yummy.

Really good service, and didn't have to wait for hours just to make it to the door. Pretty busy for Father's day weekend was still going strong

Excellent salad bar! We were pleasantly surprised at the variety of options included. In addition to the salad bar there was a taco/nacho bar, soups, desserts, fresh fruit, chicken wings, some pasta, and a few other items.

Table service was very good. Our server cleared plates and glasses quickly, and ensued our drinks were kept filled.

The restrooms were clean and well-stocked, and the rest of the store was also quite clean.

We enjoyed our dinner and would definitely return.

We normally like Sizzler, however today we had uncooked, red chicken wings. We were very disappointed because they just said they were taking them away without an apology from management

Seems like it's going down hill, when I went there was only 1 waitress and several people there, I saw 2 managers going back and forth not really helping the waitress who kept saying that she was sorry that the other waiter called in sick. After awhile I asked one of the manager's if they were going to do something like help out the poor kid who was waiting tables by herself, yeah they didn't appreciate me saying that while there were other people in the restaurant.

This was my first trip to sizzler since childhood. While the quality of the food is the same, the prices have increased exponentially! Definitely will stick with Sweet Tomatoes for my salad buffet needs.

Still a good place to eat. I chose the 3 item plate. Steak, shrimp and chicken.
That was good.added salad bar. Thats expensive now. It used to be a few bucks added to your meal.now it's like ordering another plate. Damm inflation.
Salad bar is still good even by itself.
Overall had a good time.
I'll go back again.
