Sizzler - Hayward

One of the few sizzler's left in the bay area.if you love sizzler you'll love this one.service is great with all your classic favorites.

Well you can usually count on good food at sizzler, at least it’s used to be good. One basket of cheese bread, doesn’t seem yo be u limited anymore or you have to ask. I would
Ask, if they came to my table to check on me. What I can’t understand is how I can eat an entire meal and no one checks on me, even when my iced tea is empty and I am chomping on the ice. I also was charged for steak and Jumbo shrimp instead of unlimited shrimp so, the that expectation was not met. Moreover my stake was a bit fatty and well, not as appetizing as I had anticipated. It’s only a short drive from my hotel, but apparently, I really was looking forward to this meal after a long day of travel. To top it off, a Family with 7 hyper children running around my table, yelling, swearing, and hitting each other bringing the experience to the two you see in the rating. As much as I enjoy the treat of sizzler, and it’s 1/4 miles from my hotel, this one is not worth the drive.

It's ok. Not my first choice for food. It's run like a typical chain restaurant focusing on profit and not good food or service. Felt like fast food without the drive thru

Wow! Sizzler is one my favorite restaurants to go to! I've been doing so for now over 43 years! Steaks, seafood, chicken, and an all you can eat salad bar are hardly ever disappointing. Yesterday I had the all you can eat salad bar and I was even given a Senior discount! The service was impeccable and quick, complete and efficient. Every time I go to the restaurant I am always able to find a seat despite the large crowds eating there. The salad bar has an awesome selection of salads, toppings, seafood, potato, macaroni and pasta salads to choose from. In addition they have fresh fruit like watermelon, pineapple, ambrosia, jello, vanilla and chocolate ice cream and clam chowder and chicken noodle soup to choose from. Their hot items include chicken wings, chicken tenders, spaghetti and meatballs, tacos and fillings or nachos and toppings. There are various beverages available with free refills. If you like to watch football and other sporting games they are broadcast on any of a few big screen t.v. S throughout the restaurant. I really enjoy going to the Sizzler and I hope to continue to do so in the days to come. I highly recommend this steak, seafood and salad bar house if you want a fulfilling and pleasant dining experience at a reasonable price. Happy eating!

Over priced. Burnt tiny shrimp. 2 ppl we spent $67.00. Never again in life. Chicken was prebreaded frozen for $21.00 wow! Malibu chicken yuck!

Had a problem with the cooks understanding what we wanted. My wife sent hers back and it still came out wrong

Husband and I went last night. Service was horrible. Waitress was young girl. Not once did she come to asked if we needed more water, toast, nothing. She avoided our table. Had to ask her to clean off the table when we got there. She needs to be trained again, or find another job.

Been a while since going to Sizzler. I remember now why I like it. Good salad bar. I'll be back more often.

For years I passed by thinking this was a steakhouse. Then someone said they had a great salad bar. I've been there several times in the last few months. The salad bar is very good. They have three standard soups; tomato basil, nice chicken noodle and a delicious clam chowder.
They usually have some nice fresh fruit.
The seating is comfortable as the booths are spacious.
The salad bar is appropriately priced.

We had to wait for a seat to be clean before we could sit down our waiter gave us complete sets of plate and then did not take our old plates until we were almost done it's just needs more people to service they need people to be able to clean the tables they only have one gentleman that cleans the tables working the dishes and it's not enough there's a lot of people in the place they have one clerk taking your order they need more people I know it's hard to get people now

Love the salad bar here. You can't find to many places that have one like this place. Love the cheese toast too. Just wish the waitress was more attentive and helpful. Had to ask for a refill for our drinks and more cheese toast a few times. This happens alot here with her.

Service was very good, I think food portions were a bit small, but I haven't been to a Sizzler for a while so that might be the standard size. I had a mega burger 1/3 lbs. Seemed like a typicsl quarter pound.but it was very good, and my sister had a Malibu Chicken breast. Overall not bad, I will try it again and update this post.

This Sizzler will always have a place in my heart, I've been coming here since I was a child. I was definitely happy that they brought back the chicken wings!

Everything from my last experience was as expected from a Sizzler: familiar menu, endless salad bar and pretty good service.

I did have a slightly negative experience when I ordered the Cheesy Toast Malibu Chicken. I asked the person at the register if the sandwich came with ham or any other meat along with the chicken and if it did I would like to remove the pork. She assured me that it was only chicken and it did not have any pork, but from what I've known is that the Malibu Chicken typically came with a slice of ham, so I reminder her anyway to make sure no ham was included with my order.
The sandwich came out all smushed and poorly made and it came with ham.

I know it's not too much of a big deal because I just had to take off the ham (I can't eat pork or beef), but I think it's the attention to details and understanding of your customers request that made this experience a little sour for me.

Salad bar was great as always and the service was good as expected so I still had an enjoyable time!
