Skateboarding Hall of Fame / Skate U reviews
13Finally a place where skating is not banned by stereotypical mall security everywhere. Can REALLY appreciate the thought of someone having that in mind. As a parent of a skater "THANKS! " My kid & I will be visiting frequently.
The staff is amazing. Patient with kids. They offer classes and sell skateboards. They have really good service.
Wonderful owners that care about the kids while keeping the environment safe. My son LOVES this place!
Cool place but they won't allow scooters at the skatepark. When are scooters and skateboarders going to be the same. I just wanted to feel accepted in the community as a scooter rider.
UPDATE: I wasn't trying to be rude I just think that you should allow other sports besides skateboards. Many parks have changed and allow bikes, blades, and scooters and some have certain days for different sports. I understand it's a skateboarding museum but people could appreciate skateboards and the museum more by welcoming other sports.
I'm sorry of I offended you or anything but your reply was pretty unprofessional and could of been better handled.
It's by far the most complete skateboarding Museum in existence. I must see if you're in the Los Angeles area.
It's great that we have this place. It provides a weather controlled place for the kids to skate plus skate board history
Cool staff very nice people in it big place to skate easy to find the place and was only 10 bucks to skate all day and I can go in and out without Having to pay again to renter
Love it! Very nostalgic and really hits the feels for people who grew up skating in the 90s and saw the evolution of skating. The park has boards from the 40s up to present day. There are old videos when 411VM was big and a library of old skateboard magazines. There is a miniramp and a few other things that there is a charge for. Visiting the place is free. I think they could have a little more self promotion gear for sale but I did get a tee. It's also a shop of you need a new board or setup. It's a NFP so go support it!
Eye popping and head spinning collection of skateboards from the very beginning of nailing roller skate wheels to boards. Todd Huber is an amazing guy filling the space with wonderful things of skate. Tours and Skateboard classes also available. Go see for yourself!
New clean place. $10 skate unlimited. Ramps and bars. A slide. Great decor. Nice people only been here for couple months.
A great place to visit! Tons of classic boards and photos of skaters. Welcoming staff, great environment. There's a half pipe, quarter pipe, a rail and a box to skate. It's across from the Vans store.
This place has walls and walls full of videos magazines and old skateboards for you to look at plus it's got a nice ramp in the back with the couple cool flat bars that are really really fun.
My 10 year old researched this museum. We are from St. Louis, MO. This became a top priority for him. We arrived 30 minutes before closing and Todd Hubber stayed open an extra 30 minutes! Thanks so much for making my son's dream come true. Great display of boards and lots of unique examples of boards throughout the history of skateboarding. Thanks Todd!
