Skylark Hotel, Palm Springs CA

Perfect location for walking into town. Our room and surrounding areas were clean and everyone we interacted with was super nice. The renovations are going to make it even better. We would definitely stay again!

Room too loud! You can hear everything from outside, especially the music by the pool that plays all day. On the ground floor, the rooms upstairs were also very loud! The walls are like cardboard! Ugly little bathroom! Breakfast is just mediocre, that's how they attract customers! I can't recommend it if you want peace and quiet in your room!

From the outside we had concerns (construction site) but when we walked through the gate we were thrilled. We'd love to come back.

We booked a one-night stay in August to travel from LA to Vegas. But we weren't able to get there, due to the once-in-80Y-hurricane Hilary. Unfortunately!
This is the only reason why I rated rooms and location neutral by the way.
We booked in advance and our cancelling period was over before we understood we couldn't come over to Palm Springs due to the hurricane and floods that day.
However, after some communication with the hotel management, they agreed that they pay back for our 1 night stay, due the unforeseen and extra-ordinary circumstances.
We really appreciated the gesture.

The check-in went smoothly. We received many recommendations. The room is large and clean and the pool was great. The breakfast was very tasty, there was enough choice.

We were warmly welcomed by our host and were able to enjoy our stay. The rooms need a little makeover (especially the bathroom), but our bed and mattress were new and very comfortable. There was some renovation work going on during our stay, which didn't bother us at the pool as the rooms seem to be gradually being renovated. As soon as we arrived, our host provided us with tips on restaurants and bars in the area. There is free parking right in front of the door or on the side street. We found the included breakfast to be completely sufficient and tasty

One of the better ones on our road trip through the USA. We received a very nice welcome. The room was clean and has a coffee maker and refrigerator with freezer compartment. There is a very good pool that is super clean. The loungers are really comfortable. Like almost everywhere, there is an ice cube machine. The breakfast was also great and parking is free. It's currently being remodeled, but that didn't bother us. Great hotel, great staff. I can only absolutely recommend it. Martin G.from Deutschland/Germany

Booked this hotel through booking.com. After reading several reviews that the rooms via booking were the old rooms, I contacted the hotel for a renovated room. This was only possible for almost double the price I paid now. So I canceled my booking. Booking only shows photos of the renovated hotel. So this is really a rip off. I wouldn't book this if you didn't know which room you would end up in. Because you only read bad things about the old rooms.

The hotel has a swimming pool open 24 hours, you can relax from morning to evening. The girl who checked us in was very kind, we asked if it was possible to have a room without carpet because my boyfriend suffers from asthma, she immediately satisfied us, it's not for everyone, congratulations.
The breakfast is very varied; there are vegetarian and lactose intolerant options.
At check-out we were told to contact the property directly next time in order to have a better price than the platforms, perhaps it could be useful to someone who intends to book.
The room was actually very clean, asthma-proof!
The only downside is the fact that you can't have a draft beer or a cocktail by the pool.
The area is quite quiet, you sleep very well, very comfortable beds.
I absolutely recommend it!

A very warm welcome. Thanks to Scott for his help, his good humor and his precious advice (recommendation of restaurants that we followed and we were not disappointed!) A quiet hotel, beautiful rooms with a view of the superb swimming pool and the spa. Happiness to be able to bathe H24. We highly recommend this hotel

Are you kidding me? Trying to relax by the pool and literally have a team of construction workers banging around and shouting. Ridiculous. You should close for this not rip off your customers. At the very least offer compensation or a reduced rate and a warning of this before you book. And I’m paying a “resort fee” for this? !
