Skyech installed a 3kW system at my residence in 2018 and were extremely accommodating with my requests. I cannot recommend them enough for residential solar installations. Adam, especially, went above and beyond with the system design given the obstacles presented in my particular solar installation.

SKYTECT SOLAR install the system on my roof in 2011. After installation I find it SKYTECT Solar is real bad about returning calls for service. I called six weeks ago left a message for them to contact me never got a return call I called again for weeks ago never got a return call can I call again on March 10,2020 no return call and I called again today 3/11/20 and asked to speak with Collin who is the CEO. I was told she will pass the message onto him and hopefully he will return my call. The reason for my call is one of the solar panels skytech solar install is not working. Bad customer service after installation. Beware!

Skytech Solar has the worst Customer Service after installation we could ever had envisioned! We had our solar system installed in 7/2016. When installed, Skytech installed a WiFi reading system to monitor our electrical production using a device called a envoy, which sends updates monthly from a company called Enlighten. Well, Enlighten has sent us updates stating our system is not responding. We have reached out to Skytech with multiple phone calls and emails for assistance. After all of our calls, we finally received a return call from a very rude Skytech employee that explained that our name and address was not in their system, suggesting they never installed our solar system. He stated that he would pass our request on to another person, then hung up. WOW! Still to this date, no return call or response from Skytech. When our solar system was purchased, we were told of a 25 year warranty? Sure looks like once installed, and payed for, Skytech wants nothing to do with you or your so called warranty. Be careful with this company!

Great staff, every step of the process made easy by the staff and crew. Justin the Solar Consultant answered all questions and responded promptly to phone questions. From beginning to end, including the young man who waited patiently for sign off by Walnut Creek, went out of their way to make this process easy.

This was a very professional installation with all code requirements met (not an easy task in my city). The selection of panels and inverter were right for my residence and the system has been working perfectly for nearly a year now. I really like the online monitoring and look at the system performance frequently. The only reason this is not five stars is due to the surprising delay between order and installation, nearly six months. Would recommend Skytech Solar to anyone.

We had three options for solar that had discounts pre-negotiated by the City of Fremont, CA. After rather extensive research, we chose Skytech Solar - partly because of their product options, but primarily due to their reputation for after-installation support, including quick response, friendly (human) service, and guarantees. I can say that we have not been disappointed.
The salesperson was quite knowledgable, which was absolutely great. Buying a complex system like this can be a daunting task. We don't buy things like a new roof, furnace, or solar array very often - perhaps once or twice over the course of a lifetime, and a salesperson who can answer questions on the spot without hesitation or "I'll have to get back to you on that. " is a big deal to anyone who really wants to know exactly what he's buying. In addition, they modified their contract to suit our needs; we went back and forth on some of the wording until it was written to our satisfaction. Many corporations, when they get large, won't even consider changing the wording in a standard contract, but Skytech did.
The entire process, including installation, went well; they came back several times to discuss our options, followed our wishes on exactly where the panels would be situated on the roof, plus where and how the power box was installed, and painted the new electrical parts to blend in with the house. In addition, Skytech Solar informed us of an inventory imbalance they had developed at that time which could provide panels with higher power at the same cost (allowing for one less panel). It took some research because we were concerned that they might just be unloading old inventory, but no, these were new, up to date panels of which they just had too many. So we got more bang for our buck than we expected.
Beyond that, Skytech provided software and instruction on how to monitor our system and how to spot issues that could develop over time. We also get the Enphase informational emails which keep us up to date.
So yes, we're happy campers; we got what we wanted at a price we could afford, and we are able to monitor our usage using the links and software provided by Skytech, PG&E, and Enphase. Impressive, and smooth sailing. Thank you, Skytech, Enphase, and Fremont, California!

I decided to go with Skytech Solar through the 2018 Bay Area sunshares program, which made their pricing even more affordable than usual. Even without sunshares I would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar. They had plenty of options for panels, inverters, etc, including the type of bang-for-buck option I was looking for. Before my decision, they were not pushy but were very quick to respond to all my questions.
I really appreciated how the team worked easily and efficiently around my uncertain roof replacement schedule. The installation has been trouble-free so far (just a few months out). It's certainly fun to monitor its production!

Skytech Solar provided professional and efficient service on our complicated (multi-faceted) roof. They were very detailed in their planning and responsive regarding our preferences about location. They were careful about their work and took care not to damage our gutters and our landscaping. The panels work well and Skytech handled the permitting process and connecting to PG&E! We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Skytech Solar.

We had Skytech install panels on our roof in Sept 2016. We got bids from 4 companies and Skytech had the lowest price by quite a lot. That made us a little nervous thinking quality and service would suffer, but they had good reviews so we took the chance with them and were not disappointed. They were easy reach via calls and emails and showed up mostly on time, but always got a call when they were running late. It took about 5-6 weeks from contract signing to panels going live. We did not get any leaks in our roof even after this winter's heavy rains. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
