Private pilots license here I come!

Fantastic flight school! I spent many afternoons there earning my private pilot certificate. Bret was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me. I’m very happy!

Bret is an incredible instructor. I worked with him to get my private pilot license. He truly cares about each one of his students. He will push you to be the safest pilot you can possibly be all while working at your own speed. I tried 2 other instructors before Bret. They didn’t come close to the level of detail, care, and instruction Bret offers. Even if you aren’t planning on obtaining a pilots license, I highly recommend taking a few lessons with him.

Brett is the best- it has been a great experience learning to fly with Skyward. The team clearly cares about your experience and safety. Great environment, office space, and equipment. Easy to get to know other pilots learning to fly as well! Strongly recommend the personalized approach to learning that Skyward embraces.

After looking at many flight schools, I’m so glad I chose Skyward Air to start my training. Skyward’s standards for safety, aircraft maintenance, technical knowledge, and professionalism really set them apart. The owner Bret is a very experienced pilot with an impressive resume, and is also one of the kindest and most professional people I’ve met in the industry. Although there are flight schools closer to where I live, I’m happy to make the commute to Skyward Air because of the quality of instruction I’m receiving. I have been contemplating taking flying lessons at Santa Monica airport. After interviewing with Brett Olivere, the owner, I know that if I were to proceed it would be with him.

Nice guy who is extremely knowledgeable re all things aviation, and he and his school would be my choice!

I had a wonderful time at this flight school! Bret and the rest of the team are so passionate about safety and making sure the students really enjoy the ride. The airplanes are strong, and the office space is awesome. If you’re looking to learn to fly or get a special gift for someone, this is the place to go and a ride of a lifetime.

Had a great time at this flight school! Bret and his team made my experience super enjoyable while ensuring we were safe the entire time while having a lot of a fun. Everyone is really helpful with the instructions and cares that you understand the wfh part of the lessons. They operate out of an amazing office space, which was conveniently close to me since I live on the West Side, and it was so cool to use their airplanes. Highly recommend them if you’re looking the learn, or if you know someone who wants to learn.
