Slavic Shop reviews
11Had a great experience here during COVID— felt very safe with all staff in masks, dispensing hand sanitizer at the door, and only letting in 5 people at a time. I was worried since it’s a small shop, but they were super helpful and even helped carry out my box of purchases out to my car. The food is an excellent selection of all I miss from home (Poland) — teas, jams, makowiec, polędwica, and the ever-elusive white cheese (many brands of it in fact).
Always enjoy shopping here. Other reviews are calling this place “Russian” — it’s not. Read the sign! SLAVIC SHOP. They have groceries for all of us Slavic peoples:)
Would love to see more Balkan options. They do have Ajvar, though!
Nice place! I always find foods I crave for. Prices are reasonable. The place is clean and well-organized, staff is friendly.
Great selection of polish, Russian and Europeans products.awesome chocolate, tea, candies etc.love love love this store:) I drive there from south San Jose for polish ketchup, seasoning, teas and sweets. Great store and owner too:)
Only just moved in to the San Jose so for me to find lots of polish products and fresh bread and meat was great. Will definitely be doing my shopping there as it makes me feel very homely
This place simply knows how to take care of their clients. Regularly with a welcoming attitude. The food is reasonably priced, constantly fresh and neat.
Da best for all your Slav needs
"Don't be Stallin. Be Putin in the basket. Mother Russia calls! "
Good selection of East European foods. Not a big selection of bread though. But other than that they have everything - beers, spirits, diary, sausages - all like back in Europe.
This place is a godsend if you need traditional Slavic groceries, like sheep cheese or pickles. Or poppy seeds. Will definitely be back. The staff speaks English and Russian (and maybe some other languages), they accept cards but have a minimum amount for card transactions.
Good place to get Eastern European "soul food" in South Bay.
Nice selection of beers. Friendly service.
