Slice Shabu reviews
11This is a place you come to for the experience. It's expensive and not a large amount of food, but it's still delicious and fun. I always come during lunch time and it's NEVER busy. Nice place to treat yourself or take someone for a lunch date!
Felt rushed during our ordering process.but once the rest of the crew came in, service improved. Price was reasonable considering the different kinds of meat they were offering the "meats" was pretty good and food presentation was bento style. But the kicker was the goma sauce, it had a bitter after taste to it, so it altered the flavor in my opinion.not in a very pleasant way.
This place was not too crowded. Bar stool seating. Food options were good. Loved the lamb option for lunch soup bowl. Strawberry nigori was yum.
Never had shabu before but will definitely come back here. Every bite of meat was full of flavor and edible with no bad fatty bits. The broth was delicious and the tempura was mmm mmm good. The waitresses were also very helpful with explaining the best way to cook on our first time. Nothing beats a delicious after taste of good food.
I used to love this place but the last time they seved me condiments from the people next next to me i asked the waitress if that was even legal and she said yes thats discusting who knowswhat they serve custumers fromthekitchenwill never go back unfortunayly its a fast food place basicaly
Unfortunately we had to rush so I didn't get to enjoy the full experience. Based on what we got to eat, it was great. I rate shabu places based on the Goma sauce and this one was good. I'll be back next week with more time to enjoy the food and take some pictures.
I really liked this place. It is a little cold once you get in, but once your broth comes to a rolling boil and you start eating the cooked meat and veggies, you warm right up. Yum! Overall, a lovely dinner experience. Will be going back.
Great, consistent service. Excellent portions. Refills on veggies. Lots of meat and broth options. Never had a bad experience here so they’re doing something right.
Delicious and high quality ingredients! The sukiyaki, goma sauce and truffle fries were very very good and stood out in an overall outstanding meal. Great service too! I will definitely return soon.
First time there and was a great experience
our waitress Esther made excellent recommendations. We enjoyed the visit.
Been here twice now. This place is fantastic. Regardless of what you order get the Tom yum ponzu dipping sauce. I have tasted almost everything from the menu now and it was all phenomenal.
