11Rude staff, expensive and kid unfriendly. Caters to older folks and tries its best to discourage families with kids to attend.
Beautiful facility. Now rarely open and fees are more than other pools. A real shame it is so mismanaged now.
Love this pool.nice staff good environment for kids. A few grouchy old people but they will be gone soon so enjoy the water and take a dip
Clean, Polite Staff. Tip- There are not lockers which I like as it creates a non cluttered locker/dressing room. There are plenty of hooks.

GOOD: Excellent pool! Great facility. Clean water.
BAD: Been going to this pool for a year. Staff consistently rude and surly. Like they all hate being there. Guessing it’s a top-down management/culture issue. Too bad because it kind of puts a cloud over the experience there. Done lap swim at MANY pools all over the place for over past 20+ years— never encountered such a dour pool crew at this one.
Clean pool, pretty well run but needs real time updates for changes/events so clients can get it in one click. Some people drive in from several minutes away and would appreciate it. It shouldn't cost the city any money to do it. Easy button and free. Sierra is great.
Google says open. Called the number says no closures scheduled for October yet here I am in the parking lot with locked doors driving over here waste time and gas thanks for updating the phone/web. Update: they are open for 2 hour windows scattered over various times and days of the week. Indoor showers are closed. I gave another star back for being able to get a shower even if it's outside in my swimming trunks.
So thankful for this place! With covid and injuries it’s been a life saver getting to do physical therapy in the water and swimming laps. They have structured lane signups online that comply with covid restrictions making it possible for them to be open! Individual lanes and great life guards! Affordable too!
Love the SLO swim center. They're doing a great job during COVID. It's awesome to have an affordable place to lap swim all year round!
They have the medical questions/temp procedure, masks and social distancing down pat. The online procedure and scheduling info is easy to follow. They are extremely organized and have a great team.
