Smart & Final, Carson CA

My favorite bulk store when I just need a few items and I don't want to spend a lot of money at Costco or Sam's Club. They always have a fresh selection of vegetables at decent prices.

This is a great S&F location. They do not have a wide selection of items like other locations might, but for me it's not a problem. Normally there are not to many customers and you can be in and out pretty quick. My only complaint is that the cart can be difficult to navigate because some aisles are narrow, but overall good location and staff.

Well i have always been pleased with this location but today I wasn't too happy. Came to buy franks and hotdog buns. Most of the buns were expired. Today is Sept. 7th and most of the expired buns were from Sept. 4 and I even found August buns. Also most of the cabbage that is sold in packages were expired. Doing a fundraiser and was in need of a big amount of franks and buns. But the good thing is that there are more smart and finals ;) The one on alantic ave in Long Beach was perfect for what we needed.

One start lost for the exterior smell.
The smell of very potent urine hits you like a bus in the parking lot and stronger as you get to the entrance. However, the inside did not smell. It was clean, get prices, and knowledgeable friendly staff. Staff member Dorion was extremely knowledgeable and was able to provide me with the exact location of the product I was looking for. He really knows his store!

My church is having a big event and at the last minute we needed alot more supplies. One of the employees there named Daniel the manager helped me out a while lot. He did not rush me or make me feel like I was bothering him. I will definitely be back.

I usually like Smart & Final because it gives me those Costco vibes of being able to buy large quantities of products while conserving the grocery charm. This Smart & Final, however, does not have the variety of products that a typical Smart & Final has. It is also positioned in the worst location ever, parking is a nightmare, and the staff is very rude. I won't be going to this store ever again.

They have pico de gallo, which I've been searching for a fair amount at a fair price. They have18 ounces for just over $3. Plus a lot of other great stuff at good prices.

Excpet for the unpaved parking lot, the inside of this Smart & Final is pretty descent. It does show they care more about the inside than out. Inside everything looks fully stocked and clutter free. I don't do all my grocery shopping here but it's still a great place if you wanna avoid those busy shopping market crowds.

Man that place is expensive.had to run in to grab something for eats to get thru the night and half day.chips soda, usuals! Cost dam 59$ hardly got anything.

They pack a lot into their small store, I've never left without what I sent in for, nice, helpful staff. Thanx

I have been barred from Smart & Final.by my family, I go in for a few things and come out with triple plus every time I go in there. This place has helpful, friendly, friendly, professional staff. There is one lady there at this S&F, her name is Anabelle, a very wonderful friendly employee. Thank you.

My cashier was super nice and helpful. He let me come to the express lane with my full load. And was quick and nibs to my screaming baby

Very small, poorly laid out Smart & Final. Limited fresh food selection. Staff are pleasant though.

Had to make a last minute trip to purchase a large amount of salt. Daniel noticed that I was having trouble finding what I was looking for, pointed me in the right direction, and even helped me cust costs by buying one type over the others. It was a friendly, helpful, and efficient experience - in and out - and I saved money.

HOMELESS CAMP IN THE BACK OF STORE, WITNESSED STORE GETTING ROBBED BY HOMELESS NUMEROUS TIMES. NOT A CLEAN STORE. TRASH EVERYWHERE IN THE BACK. AT NIGHT B4 THEY CLOSE, YOU GET HARASSED BY HOMELESS. EMPLOYEES ARE FRIENDLY BUT U CAN TELL STORES NOT CLEAN. THE CAMERAS ARE POINTLESS, NO SECURITY IN THE PREMISES, WATCHED HOMELESS STEAL IN FRONT OF ME. PARKING LOT SMELLS LIKE URINE. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. TOO BAD BECAUSE THIS COULD BE A GOOD LOCATION IF THEY CARED ABOUT CUSTOMERS SAFETY.

The workers are friendly. Small warehouse, but suits my needs. I've been shopping there for over 10 years.
