Smart & Final, Visalia CA

Will never come back. Arrived in an electric folding bike and they wouldn’t allow me to carry inside. Asked to park next to their electric scooters and they sent me outside.

Always great place to shop they have everything we need to keep our daily life's balanced an such great coustamer service lol

I was helped by Amanda (opr 40035). She gave me excellent customer service. She was friendly and helpful. She called the back regarding an out of stock item. She genuinely seems to enjoy working with people.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I went shopping there and all of the fruit was moldy thought I had found a batch that wasn’t trying to be understanding because sometimes it happens, get home my strawberries and blackberries were both moldy as well! Don’t shop here for fresh fruit or veggies

Friendly service. Great variety, good for party items or big bulk, some good sales. However other items pricier than most stores.

Sells bulk items at a low rate, close to downtown, and doesn't get busy compared to the other stores.

I shop here 2-5 times a week n today never again i resantly lost a cat n it was seen by S&F so wanted to post 2 flyers at each end outside of the building after i shopped so i asked 1st a tall skinny guy manager he paused then really rudely said
' NO, not on this property your not what so ever'
n walked off like it was his decision he must be an animal hater, they lost a good customer today

Worst place ever to shop customer service suck big time 1 cashed 15 people in line! The staff always look disgruntle! The manager is always in the office. I know because I used shop there a lot. No more.then the cashiers have to answers phones while there trying to help the customers chk out! I can see why the employees are miserable.call the district manager stil no response … they clean house.the store on Mooney bad wow what a definite difference so nice to shop there the employees always so nice and helpful. On Center Street in Visalia.the worst # lazy manager # employees look and act very unhappy! # clue start looking for a new manager.

Stopped by there today to get a couple of items asked a couple of the girls that were stocking items for a price on an item since they were placed in the wrong shelf and they quoted me three prices that it could cost. This isn't an isolated incident it seems to get worse every time I shop there. I won't shop there anymore I'll go to another one. The owner should read this and address this issue that is ongoing on the Center Street store. I would say 99% of the employees work as if they don't want to be there. There's agencies that provide social and public relations skills to employees management might want to look into that.

This place is a big discount grocery store. You can buy Items in bulk. Good customer service. Clean and maintained.

Staff does a amazing job keeping up the cleanliness of the store. I always feel welcome and safe during my visits.

Staff is always friendly.but, a word of advice, shop early to find everything you need.as the day goes on things get low at yhe downtown location.

Smart & Final is my store, my every day go to whatever I need store very clean very reliable courteous people 2 thumbs up you can't miss here.

Social Distancing makes it hard to get through lines quickly but I like the stores as a whole. Lately there is a few items that I was looking for that they aren't stocking, or they are and I'm not there when they do. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. They have a pretty good staff at both Visalia locations for the most part. Cashiers are very nice most of the time.

They have awesome sales. We love to go especially during their meat sales. Most items are in bulk. A nice selection but just watch out for the prices. Bulk isn't always cheaper.
Employees are very nice and helpful.
I recommend you giving it a try.

I love that I can buy in bulk without having to pay for a membership. The staff are always friendly, and the prices are good.
