Smart & Final Extra!, El Cajon CA

Exceptionally well maintained store! An unhindered, good shopping experience. I just don't know how they managed to pack so many items and products on their shelves. But there they are. By the way, who thought to call that store, smart and final?

All the cashier's have a tíred additude. Not to mention the long lines to check out. Louder music?
It was depressing.

There was a line but it moved along quickly everyone was taking the proper protocols.
Overall good experience.

Not too many people, social distance was maintained. The line was really long but it did move quickly

The cashier at register 3 arround 11am on Sunday August 16 was too busy trying to open a personal ziplock bag of breath mint while she made me wait approximately 2 minutes before she started scanning my 3 cold gallons of milk and 2 cold gallons of orange juice and other stuff. I was ignored without any apology or anything.
She did not smile nor was appreciative to my business as a customer.it seems that she doesn't like her job or maybe she had a bad day. Oh well! Customers are not suppose to notice any of that period.
Other stores cashiers almost all the time will greed me with:
Hi how are you, did you find everything that you are looking for? And always show a smile.
Not today at this smart & final in El Cajon on Broadway/ Fletcher Parkway.

Depends on the night you go usually their employees are on top of it and I have a good experience. Tonight letty & masara was there & letty waited to finish scanning 1 large order & then started with another XXXL order & got half way thru B4 she called someone up. Took her TOO long to even look up to see how many people were in line meanwhile four to five people were waiting. Finally a minute or so after being called for, Masara arrived & instead of just saying I can help the next person in line, she walked around the endcap (of the reg) behind the chip stand and the gum on that cash register to let ppl know that they could come to her register. Which seemed very odd because there's no way she could see how far they were into it loading, meanwhile I was standing there with just a basket with 3 ppl behind that she did not acknowledge. On top of that I witnessed a customer use a ladder to climb to the top and reach a case of soup which I of course had to then push out of my way to continue walking down the aisle. Only going to go there now when the professional and mom aloof ppl are there. Smh I've worked at a grocery store and I've never seen such a lack of common sense

Friendly and helpful staff. Great prices! Great deals! I love how they stop what they are doing to help you find something. If they are busy or it’s not their section, they will go and find the right person for you. This happened twice and each time they didn’t forget about me. Exceptional customer service at this location. The cashier was super helpful too. I forgot my rewards and he reminded me. Great visit! Like always!

Two things to share store clerk Anthony blowing his nose in the checkstand and not cleaning his hands is the reason I no longer shop here. Same guy got me sick a couple months back. Also the foul odor of sewer in the store.

Great price on pet food and bulk food, & other household items. Staff is super nice, and helps me with getting stuff in my car.

Paola is the best! I highly recommend this store. It's clean and the variety plentiful. I would only change the produce. The quality is hit or miss. Today I turned in a bag of moldy tangerines, for example

Nice big store. Some products high priced, some products good price. So mostly it balances out to a decent bill.

Good selection. I like shopping at smart n final, and this is one of the better ones. Great staff too!

Ray was the most awesome of employees. My girlfriend and were looking a delicious beverage for our Keto diet. Not only did he explain to us where exactly they were but he walked us over to it. We will be coming back here due to him. Thanks Ray!

Great clean store.prices are little steep but the staff and the store is set up for easy shopping. Even during after work hours it's not crowded or hectic and the staff is always happy to see you.

I like this Smart and Final better than the one in Santee. The employees here are way more friendlier. And its always stocked.
