Smart & Final Extra! reviews
20This particular store need to be under new management. The Hispanic young male manager came to work with an attitude with little regard for addressing customer needs and didn't apologize for the LONG wait for returning and checking out. He actually left the register! And left the cashier lady confused on if he was going to come back and assist her with the return. The manager definitely need customer service training. I remember when you actually had to have excellent customer service skills and know what you're doing to become manager of a store. I guess not anymore.
Really convenient just be a ware this not your regular grocery store check out mike take a bit longer.usually pretty Quick however shoppers do tend to buy a lots of items.be nice, patient be kind to the worker's.
Love that this smart and final has a clearance rack. The cashiers here are incredibly fast!
I had great time Meet got free drinks frm people I don't know and meet me a Grown Man and now where in a relationship haven't dated in 3yrs until now.
Really enjoy this place. It’s a shame. Cashier, (Ana), today came off pretty rude as well as even slightly discriminating it felt like. It was interesting to hear her reaction with the gentleman behind me as I walked away and how she asked if he needed any bags and if he found everything alright. I’m sure that is standard operating procedure, however, it much didn’t go like that for myself.
San Diego Zoo is the premier destination in the city. Peaceful, interesting, beautiful. Great place to relax and enjoy.
I have been shopping at this store for about three years now, I have never had a bad experience with any of the employees or the products they sell, I usually shop in the early morning hours and all of the staff I have seen are always friendly and helpful. Thank you.
Look I'm not going to give a 5 star for 2 or 3 of your cashiers being friendly but it will get you at least two or three, Food quality an not being surly would. Now food selection and quality is not good, 3rd of the time they are out of something you need and the produce goes bad within days (fruit molds after 2 days). To top it off is MORE expensive than target.
Prices are comparable with all other stores. Orange Juice is higher than what I pay. (hint-hint). Rarely has there been a check out line longer than 2 people. I like that.
That ONE; sassy, gentleman-cashier, though… I LIVE. He makes grocery shopping enjoyable. ️
Great staff that's always friendly and helpful. You can get some nice deals on a lot of items too!
I know that groceries are getting more and more expensive but some items (same item and brand) are twice more expensive than other stores like food for less.
Checkers are extremely slow
Several Homeless in front of store. Some harassment to customers.
Very clean, orderly, well stocked business, employee gave exact aisle and place on shelf to find product. Cashier very friendly.
Since last ratings 1997.. Now. 2022! Poor customer service down the drain, they don't care about You! RUDE CASHIER ALL OF THEM!
Much better selection than downtown. Easy parking in large lot. Staff and checkout people are friendly and nice.
Great store. Everything was well stocked and very clean. I was offered assistance within a minute of entering the store, great team!
Nice. Fully stocked grocery store with friendly staff. Lots of parking. Mask are optional.
We shop here because it is a lot less expensive than the other major grocery stores. Usually not too busy. Make sure to check the expiration dates a lot of stuff is close to expiring.
I really like the produce here, especially their organic products. Just stop in and take a look at their bell peppers! It really feels like they're sourcing some top shelf stuff. I also like that they have local watercress that doesn't come in a bag. They also have some gluten free and other specialty items in clearly marked sections throughout the store
