Smart & Final Extra!, Lakewood CA

We went in to get some ice cream. Went to get in line at the checkout staging area. One of the cashiers and another lady who I believe was the assistant manager looked right at us and then continued with their casual conversation. We along with several other patrons waiting in line for nearly 5 minutes why they had their little chat. So much for getting in and out quickly.

Good time to shop. 2pm, Sunday. I didn't have that much to get, plastic containers, lids and salad fixings. Everyone following safe distance and masks. Very organized and friendly cashiers. I was in and out in 15minutes, even with a line. Moved quickly.

Stopped by to get liquor for my dad, pressed the button and waited over 15 mins, had employees walk by me and never asked if I needed help. Got tired of waiting and ask the next employee for help and all they said was "oh not my department" and continued walking. Clearly they need to work on their customer service. Will not be going back.

It was very organise, clean, cashier very nice and very good. Vegetables and fruits good. I love it. Thank you

Wonderful selection. The most appreciative appreciate if that the store is constantly bring cleaned. They have organized line for the cashier's.
One of the best display of human compassion I saw today was here. There was a lady, who is older with a shopping cart of items. She informed the assistant manager she had to leave for a doctors appointment. If they could hold onto the cat and she will be back as soon as her appointment is over.
Not one but two employees were willing to open up a cash register to help her out. She said no at first. The employees insisted.
Clean, stocked and compassionate employees. 5 Stars

Some of the stuff is hard to find some of the stuff they were out of but I found a whole lot of stuff that I couldn't find at any of the other name brand markets. So I left happy!

I work retail and as a Customer, it feels Great to be treated like a Customer with great value!

Light, Bright and Clean. Had plenty of stock even for the last min. Shoppers on Christmas eve at 3 pm. It was hectic, but staff was helpful and calm, just like any regular day.

Great staff, nice location, quick service. The only thing is they don't have flap cuts in quantity or at least I never see them and my uncle loves those for Sunday barbecues

Went 10/5/18. Lots of good deals, and the lady who rung me up was pretty cool! Also, there was a handsome bearded employee there, that's all I needed to say.

Always fresh meat and produce here. The entire stock of products is better than most supermarkets. It is always on my place to shop list

A much larger variety of items than the regular stores. Found a helpful person in the produce section and a very friendly cashier. Stopped by here on the way home from church. I would shop this store more often if it weren't such a distance from my home.

Very tidy and clean. The only thing i dont like about Smart and Finals' is that they add extra islands of merchandise here or there in the isles making them reduced and hard to get through with the cart, especially when two people with carts want to get by. Sometimes even little islands in the way of the check out stands makes it hard to get to. I think getting rid of the extra merchandise in the middle of the path would greatly improve flow!

This store is always clean, has plenty of checkers readily available, great selection of goods.

This us a sort of hybrid between a bulk store like Costco and a regular grocery store. You can but large packs of cups, plates, coffee, and some food items but they also have smaller sizes and a produce department. When I went, checkout was quick and efficient. There is plenty of parking so that won't be a problem.

If you haven't changed your super market to Smart & Final yet you are missing the boat. Great quality and selection. Larger sizes at great prices without a membership. 100%.

The store is most always well stock. It is clean and well lighted. Is in strip mall where ample parking is most always available. There are several express checkout lanes that appear to always be open. It's a nice shopping experience.

Nice clean place. Prices are higher then Trader Joes. The staff is very helpful. I would have given them a five star if prices were better and the parking lot was not a mad house.

I ordered the sirloin steak and eggs and it was delicious. The steak was Hugh and I could not eat it all.

Really nice associatss. It was crazy busy today cause tommorow is the 4th of July. Good place to shop!
