Smiling Seal Pediatric Dentistry, Valencia CA

My daughter has been coming to Smiling Seals since she was 2 and they are amazing.the Dr. 's and staff are all so nice and great with kids. She even enjoys going! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great pediatric dentist.

I’ve been taking my daughter here for 3 years now and we love it! Dr. John and his staff are amazing, welcoming and friendly. I’ve never had one problem here. The atmosphere is so fun in the office. My daughter loves coming. I would be recommend them every time!

I couldn’t be happier with the service at this dentist. They were patient and kind with my son who doesn’t like new anything. Thorough exam and cleaning. We saw Dr. Angela but even the other doctor, I think his name was Jon, came and introduced himself. The office was colorful and clean with screens on the ceiling for the children. Looking forward to our next visit… who even says that about a dentist office?

I absolutely love Smiling Seal! Since day one Dr. Angela & Dr. Jon have been extremely amazing! All the staff here work so well with all the kids and do everything to help ease the nerves of being at the dentist!

Smiling Seal is very kid friendly. The staff was wonderful as well as the doctor. My daughters visit was amazing from the staff checking us in to her dental hygienist Chirsty. Doctor Chen was very informative about the care she needs for her teeth. He explained their concerns and what preventative measures we could take. They took their time when my child was nervous and didn't want to cooperate.

I also love that they are COVID conscious. When you arrive they ask that you wait in your car and call to check in. It's especially comforting bc my child is under 2. Wonderful experience all around and wod definitely reccomend them to friends in the area.

Great first experience for my daughter's first dentist appointment. Everything is designed and so well thought out to make it fun and comfortable for the kids. All staff and Dr.were kind and patient.

My now three-year-old is always SO NERVOUS when we gave to go to the dentist but the minute we walk in the staff is amazing and puts my little ones nerves at ease. 2 appointments so far and not a single tear shed. Its safe to say we absolutely love this place.

My boys see Dr John and he is amazing! Our kids actually look forward to their dentist appts.:) doctors are so kind, knowledgeable… staff is attentive and caring… visits are smooth and painless from start to finish. The decor inside is so cute and fun. Definitely a positive and memorable atmosphere for little ones! Would not go anywhere else. My daughter sees Dr. Angela and she is wonderful as well:). Great team!

Smiling Seal has been a game changer for my family! My kids used to be so terrified to go to the dentist. There’s lots of trauma and bad experiences with past dentist that have led them to be anxiety filled when they go to the dentist. I finally was so fed up that I started asking around for recommendations and had a friend that lives in the same area that I do (AV) and makes the drive to Smiling Seal because they’re so amazing. I decided to take my kids for a check up there and check it out for ourselves and we fell in love! Seriously the best, friendliest, most efficient but gentle service ever! My kids get excited now when they find out that they have an appointment! How cool is that! I’m so impressed with the level of care and connection they have with their patients. Taking the time to make them comfortable but also being so quick and efficient. Could not be happier that they are now our new dental care home for our kids.

Not a great experience. The dentist was nice but it was just alot of convincing me that my kids need these extensive treatments. Kind of felt like being at a car dealership. And its crazy that their anesthesiologist doesnt take insurance.

Hygienist Mckayla was very unprofessional. Her hair was way too long and it goes to my son’s mouth when she cleaned my son’s teeth. Mckayla and receptionist chatted about their outings whole time. Horrible customer service!

My kids and I love coming to Smiling Seal for their dental care. I have been taking my son 7 years now and my daughter 2. It is such a fun and calming environment. Everything is open to make the parent at ease, especially having two kids seen at once. One in X-ray and the other getting examined, I can see them both at the same and that puts them at ease too being able to see me. The dentists are so caring and personable. They definitely love kids too. At the last visit my son was amazed his provider talked up Pokémon with him. He talked about it the whole way home.

Horrible experience. The dentist seemed luke he didn't like kids and kept on looking at his watch like he had better things to do. The dental assistant asked me the same questions over and over like she didn't listen to any of my answers the first time. Also they said my 6 month old should get flouride treatment which is un heard of

I have been going to this dentist office for almost 7 years and I love them. Dr. Angela Choi and Dr John are great. They are very different in how they approach caring for my son, but they are always professional. I found them by looking for a dentist that could accommodate my son who is autistic. When I found them my son was newly diagnosed, and he had a lot of sensory issues that made it hard for him to tolerate the dentist and just a simple examination let alone a cleaning. Dr. Angela was the first care for my son and she was just so great. She went along with his flow and I was so thankful. Dr. John is a bit more straightforward and to the point but they both care for my son amazingly. Thank you Smiling Seal Dentistry for the care you have given my son over the years. This mom appreciates the time and attention that you and your staff always provides to not only my son but to me as well.

I have never imagined that my daughter would be so comfortable in a dentists office. This staff goes above and beyond to make this a positive experience. They are so patient and so willing to answer any questions one might have. You all rock!

We love Smiling Seals! The girls get so excited to go to the dentist because it’s such a fun environment and the staff is great. I only gave four stars because they were a little obsessive with the COVID stuff. I don’t think hand sanitizer and masks when you walk in is helpful if you have to stick your hands in my kids mouth. But this is the crazy we live in! Regardless of that, wonderful pediatric dentist.

The staff and doctor were so friendly and made us feel confident in the care our daughter was receiving. Everyone was so patient with our little one and made her feel so comfortable. She actually said “mommy I loved going to the dentist”. We are so grateful to have such an awesome pediatric dental office with caring staff near us!

I went to Smiling Seal for the first time and I have to say it was the best experience I and my son have ever had at the dentist! It was also my daughters first time and they were so kind with both my kids! Both kids were able to do their cleanings, my son was able to do his X-ray without insecurities, and all staff were beyond kind! They are also very clean and secure with maintaining new guidelines to ensure everyone’s health and safety. I absolutely love this dental office and can’t wait to go back with my kids!
