Smith-Murphy Park, Buena Park CA

Great park, love the gazebo area, it has grill stands and a washing sink as well as all day shaded/covered space with 4 tables inside. Handball, playground, easy parking, plenty of friendly and diverse people seemingly from all backgrounds and a decent police presence making it feel safe.

Bathroom closes early (sometimes around 6pm it seems) and lots of untrained dogs that bark and lunge and the owners don't do much, most of them are smaller yappy annoying breeds - maybe watch your kids around them anyway, but overall a great park.

Good park in the the middle of residential homes and elementary next door, has a handball/racketball court.

Its every nice quiet neighborhood park you can walk your dog it has doggie bags in case you forget one your able to do your walking exercise being I live across the street I too joing my neighbors in walking morning or evenings

I live right next with in 20 steps and been watching every day, every hours, those who dog walking, jogging, having birthday party, kids drop by after school and play around, some napping under the tree shade, some bouncing tennice ball against wall, onething, it's located right next to school, which watch by CCTV, made safer and so far, i did'nt see any group or persons stayed that long, just timely, come and go, relatuvely very quiet and clean park.

Was there for a tree planting event between 08: 45 and 11: 00, the park was quiet and not too full of people who were not there for the event. I counted five people there who I assume are regular visitors for a Saturday morning park visit who had not come because of the event. Facilities were clean and taken care of but I can not judge it fairly due to the event happening that day (so the city looks good on paper, a common tactic). Not much wildlife, not many insects even. Would visit again for a quick stop if I'm in the area.

Moved in only a week, not grand scale park, though side by big preschool ground, making you feel nice and safe, has clean restroom and playground plus bounce wall to practice tennis or soccer.easy walking or jogging for elderly or for the ladies

Good place for cricket. Help cricket coaching academy. Overall ground condition is not good. Park department is not doing their job. There are patches on the ground that are with out grass. This ground is being used by SCCA (Southern California Cricket Association) for their league games but not taking good care of grounds. Pitches are getting really bad. With the amount of fee the association is charging for ground maintenance they should have to take care or at least take care of all work that is being done here by the ground management.

Quaint, yet very beautiful little park in between townhomes and next to a school. My kids love the playground here after school. I love that it's in a safe neighborhood.

This is a Park which has something for every age group. Slides for the children, open space for outdoor activities, benches for elderly and a nice and beautiful school ground for people who play sports. Absolutely love this place. We go here to play Cricket every weekend.

The trash bin is a little apart from the side walk (see the picture) and people tend to leave the trash near the parking lot. Wish the bin was relocated.
