Smog Check, San Diego CA

I would not use there services again was told 58 out the door I was going to pay $58 then when didn't pass because of my engine light was on and he knew it was before testing it then since fail charging me $67 to be able to retest it later so now going to end up paying $67 +certification fee and what ever other fee there is instead of the $58 flat like promised. And was very rude when I asked why the price was changing up instead of down because wasnt getting certified so should be less. Save your self a headache dont go here.

Bobby is amazing! He could tell I was having a tough day when I ran out of gas as I pulled up for my smog check. He drove me himself to the shell up the street to get gas for my car. I’ll be coming here every year to update my tags!

The man working there and doing the registration is very kind, but he doesn't have access to do quite *everything*. I paid a late fee that he wasn't able to clear when I wasn't late and I got a notice in the mail that my registration was incomplete. I called the CHP (my car is out of state and I had to do an extra check) and the CHP vin checker was able to clear me. This is a great place for locals and most everyone else because the fee is worth not going to the DMV- as long as it works.

At the last minute I realized I needed to smog car for registration. I went to Smog Check, he had me in and out in literally about 20 minutes. From start to finish. It is my go to place!

Older gentleman would not re-test without charging the full $89 fee again. My understanding was that they would retest again for free. Disappointing. I went somewhere else.

Maybe we got off on the wrong foot as I called ahead for an appointment, I arrive on time, he asks me to wait 15 minutes.

Came back 2nd time for smog check very nice gentleman took care of me. Affordable and quick. I will be coming back in the future for my next smog check.

Smog for my 07 Honda $59 in and out in less then $20. Solid guy. Warned me about hiw to not get a ticket woth my taga being expired. Will be back again in 2 years

Great customer service. My out of state car did not pass, but I was told I would not be charge for my return trip when I got my out of state vehicle up to Californian standards.

Can't recommend this place enough! I've had 6 cars over the last 7 years and smog tests have been a non-stop headache. So much of my time has been working on my car after a long day at work, trying to get that damn check engine light off so I could pass smog, register and not have to deal with it until I bought my next beater.
Sam did me right. Straight shooter with great customer service skills. I told him I was worried about not passing smog and he said that he wouldn't charge me anything until I Passed! I couldn't believe it and have never heard anything like that before. Big fan of this spot. Come here and let Sam help you out with Smog.

Cheap, fast and friendly. Not much to look at, nor much in the way of amenities, but I'm getting a smog check, not going to a spa.

I showed up without an appointment, but he was able to get my car checked and I was out of there within maybe 15-20 minutes. The customer service was great, and he even showed me a plug in the engine that I hadn't noticed and explained what it was for.

Gave some solid advice for options on my truck when the engine finally dies (hopefully never, I love my truck). Guy wouldn't smog my car because it has dumped exhaust (common modification on Mustangs and muscle cars)
