Soapy Joe's Car Wash - La Mesa

Very poor vacuum system! Definitely not enough vacuum suction power to suction the smallest particles on the carpet! Not sure I'm going back?

Really tight areas to get to the car wash & afterwards to find a vacant vacuum/wipe down station. Bird poop doesn’t get washed off. It should’ve been easy to wash off since it rained yesterday. No clean towels today (had to use a used one: (-Covid-19 era.) Please keep up with clean towels! And vacuum had okay suction. My first time at this location. I have a membership. Disappointing. One good thing was the attendee was helpful and friendly since I didn’t know where the vacuums were located.

Very disappointing for this place to carry the name “Soapy Joes”. The tire shine only got less than 1/2 of the tires on each tire. The towels (clean) had and left a horrid smell in my hands.
It was not even worth it going back around. Definitely not what I’m used to from my normal Soapy Joe’s.

Desmond was so helpful. I was confused and lost and he redirected me and helped make my day spectacular. I am so grateful for his leadership! I will be back because of him. Thanks Desmond!

The young gentleman named Joshua was super helpful and his custom service was excellent very kind and professional made the environment a welcoming place to get a great car wash and service was 10/10 definitely will be coming back!

Was in the area. Ok. Employees not as friendly. Machines not doing that well. Thunder falls not really falling. I normally go to RB. Where I gave then 5 stars.

Still have broken down machines. Lines were long. I pay for the monthly Potion wash. And only got a basis wash. Never again.

Tried to pull into a vacuum spot but a guy ran out in front of my car waving and not letting me in because he was saving it for someone else. The other woman pulled in right in front of me. No staff in sight to regulate. I filmed him and I’m posting it to their videos. Trash location.

I love this location. I can go to the one on Palm or Sweetwater, but I choose to go to this one due to the customer service.

Pros:
customer service: the employees there are incredibly helpful. There are two employees that are always smiling and helpful. One is Johnnie and the other is a guy that smiles and throws up a On occasion. My car was totaled when it was parked. I returned a couple weeks later when I got a new car and Johnnie helped switch my account and it was completely stress free.

Car wash: when I went to the other locations, my car did not get as clean. I don’t know if this location’s machine is newer, but I do feel that it is more effective. I went to the Palm location for almost about 10 months so I have enough experience to compare.

Cons
Size: it is smaller than the other locations which means less vacuums. I have learned which time of day to go so I have no wait. Even when I have to wait, I feel like the customer service makes it worth it.

I'll give 5 stars because the staff is great, I love the cheap monthly membership, the vacuums are free and I think my favorite part is the air freshener! But seriously.fix the vacuums please

I really love this Soapy Joes. Although it’s always busy the staff works very hard to make it an easy experience. This last time I went I was lucky enough to get a vacuum and received speedy service from Joseph when I noticed that it needed new towels and I needed help with the vacuum. The only request I have would be to try and find a way to get the cars through faster because sometimes it is a lengthy wait.

Honestly this location is incredibly terrible. It’s so small, it gets backed up onto the street, and every time I’ve came I’ve never been able to use a vacuum. Thank God there’s one by my job in 4S ranch because I’m never using this location again. It’s so cramped and small. They need to relocate. Like immediately. This location almost made me cancel my membership and switch to another car wash membership.

I have been once and it was a great experience, one of the workers was phenomenal! Joseph truly was nice and made sure my vehicle was spotless. Definitely would go again!

I've been coming to this location for several years and I'm always impressed by the level of service provided at this location. Anytime I have any concerns-I can always rely on Cedric to address it. I got a new car and the xfer of continual service from one car to the other was seamless. I also noticed the staff functions well together as a team. Great job.

I have been coming to this location for some time, and always always always, there is an associate that goes out of his way for me. I believe his name is Joseph, I prefer going when he is there because he provides the best customer service out of the other locations and associates there. I work in retail, and I recognize when work is being executed in a fine manner, this associate provides.

Used them for two vehicles for a couple of years now. Always considered them top-notch but lately.

Just about every time I go there there's at least one vacuum system down. Often times I have to seek out drying towels cuz the bins are empty.hopefully they will straighten that out as I really enjoy the place and really like the monthly usage capability.

First time today at this soapy joes car wash, and was amazed by Esteban's customer service.i was greeted by him and was guided through the wash menu. I purchase the magic potion wash and i am really amazed on how clean my car came out, Thank you for the help! Will come back

Well where do I begin. Hands down the best car wash I've been using since living in La Mesa, let alone San Diego. Bradley the manager, who by the way is a real cool guy. Made sure that my car was completely clean and even offered a free upgrade. Totally worth paying the monthly subscription.
