Why do They have 12 windows but only have two windows open? No wonder the wait times are ridiculous

I became a Naturalized citizen and had to update my info with the social security office. I made no appointment because I called before going and was told I could walk in anytime during business hours.

I was just there 8/11/22 and had a great experience. The wait wasn't bad at all. The security guard at the door gave us directions on what to do. Then I sat in an air conditioned room. The process was fast and easy. Also the employees were very nice.

As expected longer waits depending when you go but doing applications online can be a time saver! All the staff was very kind

Horrible service from a heavy set African American woman with long gold fingernails at window one was completely rude and disrespectful cutting me off when would ask her any type of questions all I wanted was to replace my social card and instead got a completely degrading experience the supervisor was just as bad if not worse she completely disregarded any requests I had of their heavy’s set Latina with glasses names to make a report by

Went there today. Saw a lady at window 1 told her I spoke with someone on the phone that's at her office.said someone could help me so I left work in El cajon to get it done. The lady said no.told me it would take 45 days went back and forth saying her supervisor called and said she can't help me. Told me I was going to be waiting till August. I left the office and called back because I was told to go in I asked to speak with the supervisor and explained my situation to the guy who answered the phone. He said he would help me and 30 mins later everything was set up and taken care of. Why would she refuse to help me and had to do it over the phone is ridiculous. This place is horrible on the inside. I don't remember her name. And she acts like I should have remember the name of the guy who I spoke with before coming in. Call in and speak with the great staff on the phone.

After reading that you should make an appointment, I called to make one. I waited for 35 minutes and I still didn't get anyone to answer. I did it pretty early too.

I had an appt at 9: 30 and they never called me not even at 12. The security guard, tall one, was so rude to everyone. I saw elderly ladies crying and people. I am so disappointed. I had to use the restroom after 3 hrs waiting but was told no restrooms. It was a total mess and to deal with the rudeness was humiliating. Shame on all of you

They are horrible. I called to make an appointment and waited for over 30 minutes and got not answer. I tried to do a walk in to see if I could get someone to see me, but the guard said it was by appointment only.

I went home and called to make an appointment again, only to be answered by a lady with attitude and, by her tone, you could tell that she did not want to work there. When I told her I wanted to make an appointment, she said that the office is currently closed and does not take appointments. When I told her that I went to office and the guard told me it was appointment only, she offered a different number.

When I called the 2nd time, I had "stated" the word "appointment" when the machine asked what I was calling for and that directed me to the rude lady. Why they would direct me to her when she can't make appointments is beyond me.

Don't waste your time with them.

I do not normally leave bad reviews like this but my experience has been unsatisfactory, to say the least. 4 1/2 minutes on the phone just to navigate the automated answering machine. Then, the same guy answers (when it actually connects) and it sounds like he's in a porcelain bowl, on a cell phone with 1 bar of service. How am I supposed to make an appointment? Can't book online. Can't get anyone to answer the phone.

I called the customer service today just to get an update if they are taking walk in or in person appointments for correcting the name on the SS card since i needed it to get done so all my info like passport and other cards would match my maiden name but then he hanged up while I was talking still. How rude is that!

This site was not opening and all I needed was the form for my doctor to file. It took me 2days to find the forms I neededfor the doctor.

I cannot say enough about how helpful this office was, in particular Oscar, who was by far the best customer service representative I have encountered over the 21 year span of interactions with different agencies I've had helping my disabled daughter. I had tried to reach someone regarding my daughters needs over the past couple months, but was not making much progress and when we found out my husband was deploying unexpectedly and would be gone for 8 months, this appt became critical to making sure she was taken care of while he was gone. I called, full of anxiety and expecting that I would most likely get routed somewhere else, or not be met with a friendly voice.but I was absolutely WRONG! The voice was not only friendly, it was helpful, informative, and sincere. By the end of our phone call I had everything I needed to take care of my daughter and a smile on my face.
