I went on a Monday around 3: 30pm without appointment & I was in and out in less than 30 mins.

After a long wait on hold first I was hang up. Then on a subsequent call the person was rude, dismissive and most of all incompetent. It looked like she was bothered to answer the phone. I only needed to check the status of my ONLINE application. She said I can't apply on line, I had to come in person. When I try to explain she would not let me finish. Why do they keep on hiring incompetent and arrogant ppl? Then I called the national line and was told YES I could apply on line ans my application was being processed.

I was pleasantly impressed! So organized, great customer service, knowledgeable and friendly!

Even though I waited for over four hours that was nice when I found out the reason why someone came in impersonating me and he showed me the video so I say thank you

I went here to become my own payee. And while the person I was speaking to was very nice. Some of the people that work on the phone are extremely rude. Also, this month they sent my direct deposit to someone else’s account. I was not notified about this. Because of this mistake, I will have to go to the office and Make the correction. Also, if you were going to advertise that you can change this information online, you should be able to do that. I should not have to call and wait for over 30 minutes on the phone. This is really getting ridiculous.

I went without an appointment to do a name change and find out about spousal benefits. The representative was polite, knowledgeable and gave me all the information I needed. Unfortunately, I do have to return because I needed a document certified. My entire visit was around 30 minutes.

Not very busy, helpful staff and security at the door. Started my request online, then brought in supporting documentation. Took less than an hour. Plenty of parking.

Great experience. We used to live in the valley and the one there was awful.
The manager was very involved and really tried (and succeeded!) to make the whole process go as smooth as possible. The security guards were also kind and making the best of the situation.
The ladies who helped me at the window were kind and knowledgeable.

I waited about an hour because they are not taking appointments right now. But, the place was clean and not crowded with STELLAR, amazing, happy, fun, helpful staff all the way around. I was truly pleasantly surprised. Great job!

The most rudest staff with the exception of the security guard. Shrug their shoulders and unable to assist their customers like they were “trained” to do. I will never return to this location

Security officer showed us where the kiosk was to get started, and the agents took care of us. Made everything really quick and easy. We were there for maybe 40 minutes. DMV take notes!

Tip- If your call is blocked or dropped after your first call, try calling from a different phone and it goes right through. I had this happen with the identity hotline and I think they block you if you don't answer after being on hold for 20 minutes.

Go mid week not during the beginning or end of the month, around 3pm. Bring a mask and paperwork filled out ahead of time. Line outside is just to get inside to take a number. Goes quick if you are organized and prepared.

Couldn't reach them through the phone and online reservation was too far out. They accept walk in. Note that it is STREET PARKING ONLY, do not park on any parking lot, each has a tow policy for SSA visitors. Had a smooth flowing process as a walk in. Make sure to read on their website what would be the supporting documents you need to ensure efficient processing. Kudos to the employees, from the security guards and the attendant, they were very nice and knowledgeable. I was able to complete what I needed to do in less than an hour on a Monday morning.

Called the Torrance office at 9am & got thru to an agent right away. Spoke to Ms Brown who was professional, knowledgeable & very patient. She put me at ease w/my issue & emailed the form that I needed. She didn't get off the phone til she knew that I recd the email. Kudos to Ms Brown!
