Sofi Irvine

I enjoy living here at Sofi Irvine. It’s quiet and people are nice, and the property is always clean and maintained daily. Management and maintenance are friendly and extremely accommodating to all my needs.

Moved in July 1st, kitchen cabinets were not painted, still had eggs yolk. Dryer didn't work. Requested by phone & email, finally completed yesterday, day 27th. Was repeatedly told someone would go. The office never entered my request. The stairs to the parking lot have stains & smells like death. So far bad experience.

It's been 2 weeks since I asked to have my selling lamp checked.because it turns on by itself every time.this may turn on the light or fan, especially at night. I have a small baby and he constantly wakes up from this! In order to see and check something, you will have to wait a very long time or ask several times. The time is 5 am and I have been trying to turn off the fan for half an hour, but it does not turn off.

Office personal are nice only until you sign the paper! After that they don’t Ben care about anything like I mean nothing.and I’ve been emailing back and forth with them about my security deposit and a charge for extra days.still haven’t got any deposit back or any email about what’s going on.don’t even think to move there … you can easily find better community with even better pricing and also much more newer.all you have to do is just search more

I have lived in this property for 5 years. It couldn't be better. However, after switching the property management company to Avenue5 residential, it gets too bad. I called many time to request for fixing things, but no action. The elevator is broken, but they don't care. They even doesn't work for a rent renewal. I feel like they never want to work, but just keep their seat in the leasing office. If you consider this property to live, do not caontract until the management company is changed again. I really miss the previous people in the leasing office.

If you don’t mind having things stolen then move here. I had a Harley Davidson worth 20k stolen from the guest parking spots last month after being parked for only 3 hours. There are no cameras anywhere around the property which made it impossible for law enforcement to help us. I will never be seeing that bike again. If that doesn’t bother you than by all means live here.

When you request for maintenance, it would never be handled immediately or even within next 2-3 days. Lots of mold issues in the apartment (due to lack of sunlight to the apartment) & the washer will spoil your fine clothes. Even if you raise concern, no action will be taken. The Leasing office management is awful to such an extent that I have to go & remind them on my move-out date to get the move-out checklist which won't have all the details listed in it & it will be delivered to your door step on the DAY OF MOVE OUT. After you move-out of the apartment, you'll be treated "Totally DIFFERENT"!

PLEASE READ: Please avoid this place at all costs. When my family and I went into the office for an apartment tour after setting up an appointment, the staff people didn't even acknowledge us when we were RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM for the first 5 minutes (I wish I was kidding). It was awkward, humiliating, and uncomfortable to say the least. My parents looked so hurt and the fact they were so nice to the staff members the entire time while receiving terrible treatment in return made me blood boil. Anyway, the guy finally looks up, sighs, and asks if we have an appointment. We say that we do and he looks up our name, says there is nothing in his computer and he kind of insinuates he wants us out of there. After we showed him our confirmation email he points to the chairs in front of his desk, signaling (not talking) us to sit down. Afterwards, the whole interaction consisted of him sighing and being extremely rude. When we went up to the model apartment, he was on his phone the entire time and when we asked questions (we asked 2 Qs total), he did not look up from his phone ONCE. My question is, if he doesn't want to do his job, why does he still work there? There is so much more to say about this place but I'll stop here. Moral of the story: if you don't want your entire day ruined, don't go here ever.

Very unsafe living environment, I had been stalked 3 times, 3 times all in my building! Their security team needs to take an hour to arrive the apartment and figures out what happened! So I directly called 911 for help! And strangers can knock your door at anytime, I don’t know why those strangers can even get in the neighborhood because they have 2 gates and only those who has the keys can get in. Horrible experience of living here and they gave me tow away tickets after I told them I would no longer renew the lease.
I don’t recommend anyone to live here.

Maintenance team was very knowledgeable and professional. They quickly responded to my request for a repair and did an excellent job. Thank you Ricardo and Joaquin!

Don't rent at the SOFI Irvine apartments, they will keep all of your deposit and ask for more. The move out statement they mail you states. "Please remit amount due to Sofi Irvine within 30 days. Otherwise you may contact Rent Collect Global/IQ Data at (Phone) ". Meaning they are not willing to talk or explain the charges. We also experienced bad service while living there, but too many issues to talk about here. Be careful with these people.

Their maintenance and upkeep of the building is lacking because management is to cheap to hiring cleaning and maintenance personnel. They have over 400 apartments with 1 maintenance man and 1 part time cleaning lady, it’s ridiculous and shameful but if you’re late one day on your rent they charge you $150. I’ve had to clean the hallway myself when I was expecting company. I can’t wait to my lease expires so I can leave this place.

3/11/20 = 4 star = Nice and clean, well maintained the only problem is you can't have Satellite Dish. If your patio location is facing South-East you might get it but you need to make Deposit of $200.00.

Have not moved in yet but looking forward just by the way ‘Tina’ tried to help me find an apt to the date I need and details on the price.she has the costumer service skills and for sure choose to be a good person to anyone who walks into that place

I'll keep it short to this end that I called the leasing office and asked a question about 1b1b availability, the person answered and said I don't know, I need to see the report! Then he hung up the phone on me which is very impudent.
They definitely lost a possible tenant.

If I could do zero stars, I would. These apartments may look nice, but don't fall for it! Terrible place to live!

Our company rented a unit here for interns. When there wasn’t one I got to stay there instead of commuting. The longest was time was six months and it was perfect. It came with a washer and dryer, refrigerator, microwave, a little balcony off both the bedroom and living room, sliding glass doors in both rooms so it was bright. The grounds were very well maintained.

The management was great about keeping residents informed of upcoming maintenance.
There is a pool, a tennis court, gym, bbq grills. They even had social events a couple times a month for all the residents.

The only downside was that there was only one elevator, so moving in furniture was a bit challenging. I really hated to give that place up to the next intern

I have lived here just over a year & love it for the most part. The office staff is very friendly & very helpful, including the management team. The maintenance team is amazing.always helpful, friendly & on top of whatever needs done! Sergio, Ismael & Ricardo, thank you for all you do!

My girlfriend and I really enjoy living here! The pool/jacuzzi are always clean as well as the common areas. The BBQs are cleaned what seems like daily which is a huge plus and the maintenance team is awesome. Sergio and Ricardo are always on work orders and do very good work. These two genuinely know how to fix things. Thanks guys for always being on top of things around here!
