Sofi Riverview Park, San Jose CA

I am living in this apartment since 2015. In terms of amenities and storage it's really good. I had a great experience with leasing from Em. She is a great person who is very responsible and caring. She is very genuine and goes out of her way to help the individual. She helped me several time with different different situations. In shot, its a beautiful community with nice and caring leasing office people. Personally, I recommend this apartment community:)

We stayed 4 long years here, this place is warm and very very cozy.great service staff.we had to shift our move out dates and they were so accomodatable, just got it fixed to make the move out stress free. We even missed paying our rent once by 3 days, they were so kind as it was my first time in 4 years, they didn’t even charge me for a late fee.
Em and Karla are so helpful for all queries n requests.

I was added as a new member to the lease towards the end of last year and had to wait for a few weeks to get my keys/fob. With the new management, Em and Karla immediately resolved the issue within a day once they learned about the situation. Ever since, they have been very helpful in many occasions such as assisting with the mail/packages and other maintenance requests. For instance, When I scheduled a tv delivery and couldn’t make it home on time, the leasing office helped open the door for delivery and signed on my behalf upon request. It is absolutely a pleasure working with them at times of need and I feel positive that someone will address my situation every time I step into/call the leasing office which is all that I expect in return for what I pay for. Thank you team for your kindness and support. I hope you continue to make more residents happy and feel assisted in the days to come.

I moved into newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment and loving my stay. They have an amazing office staff (Karla, Em, Amanda). Karla is very helpful and she helped me out many time. She is absolutely responsive and quick. She ensures that maintenance requests are taken care of ASAP. Overall amazing place to stay.

We have been living here for 2 years now, its a great apartment to live in, just enough amenities, great locality for outdoors and very responsive staff.front office is filled with very welcoming and amazing folks, especially Em and Karla - they go out of their way to help the residents and have made my experience here even better!

I moved here at the end of December 2019. I was so impressed by the team at Sofi Riverview (Karla and Em) who made the process very smooth. The place and the service are up to the expectations. Kudos to the whole team)

I had been in the market for a new apartment for the last few months. I was fortunate enough to be in a position where I can wait and find the perfect location to move to. I randomly found Sofi Riverview Park on craigslist and decided to call on a whim. Boy am I glad I did. I went and checked out the apartment and fell in love with the unit and the complex. The staff was amazing from the get go. There was a slight hiccup during the application process and Em went out of her way to make sure I had the chance to go for the unit I wanted. I was seriously flabbergasted and I cannot thank the staff enough. In the end, I was able to apply for the unit I wanted and have signed a lease and will be moving in shortly. IF it wasnt for the staff and management, I'd probably still be loooking for the next few months.

I lived in River view building-3 for 13 months before moving in SOFI Riverview park in one-bedroom apartment early January this year. Its been now almost 2 weeks living or would rather say enjoying here with my family of three. Below are couple of things I noticed worth highlighting for new tenants looking SOFI Riverpark as their new home.

Leasing and management -I must say Leasing management here at Sofi Riverview is a team of very dedicated people. In my case Em and Karla specifically went above and beyond what was required to extremely ease hunting new apartment and completing leasing process which we all know most of the time is a complex and painful process.
Surprised to see them staying beyond working hour per my request to suit my time in completing leasing process and move in tour.

Maintenance support-When I moved in apartment was clean per my expectation. There were couple of things (oven and switch in living room) those required a quick fix and had been informed me while handing over the keys. I created the maintenance request from resident portal (supper convenient, loved it) and maintenance team fixed the issues next day itself. Great and timely support

I did see the garage gate wasn’t functional from couple of days, but good part is that team is actively working to have bad part fixed and providing all the progress updates. Liked the idea of having a night patrol until the issue is permanently fixed.

Overall, I am very happy and satisfied living here with my 4 years daughter who loved here the kids play area/neighborhood park the most.

Amazing front office (Karla, Em, Amanda). Karla has been helping me out and she is absolutely responsive and quick with any requests I need! Maintenance turnaround is fast as well - usually within a day or two. The area is nice, sunny and in a prime location between the airport and restaurants.

I have lived in places across the Bay Area, and I have never come across a leasing staff as capable as Sofi Riverview Park, especially Amanda.
She was incredibly friendly, knowledgable and supportive throughout the entire application and move-in process.

The office management staff, Em and Karla, were so great when it came to facilitating resources for leasing options and move-in.

We were looking for apartments in the area and found Sofi. We had some hiccups navigating the online application system and Karla from the leasing office was patiently helping us over the phone. Em, the property manager is one of the best I have encountered. I like property with friendly staff who are willing to help you solve problems and makes you feel like they really care and Sofi delivers. No properties are perfect and although we are constantly finding some small issues in the apartment we enjoyed our interaction with the staff at Sofi a lot that's why we chose it here:) They make you feel like home.

I've lived here since it was built, when the pool was still under construction in fact. I've looked at 10+ apartments before deciding on 251 Brandon. It's been a greet oasis in the barren Silicon Valley, love the area.

I've also see management come and go, though Em has been a breath of fresh air. Very eager to help and great attitude!

Well' I've been living here for 4 years already, and just made decision to renew my lease for the 5th time.

Why? Because this apartment complex really tries to improve quality of living, instead of just keeping up with the price race. Renewed apartment interiors, new appliances and the team. Em rises the bar for quality of experience for interacting with management. She's very listening, helpful and professional, and you're leaving the office with smile on your face and satisfaction from discussion results. Maintenance team is pleasure to interact with as well.

There's no perfect place to satisfy everyone, but I am giving this one 5 stars and am staying.

Working with Em Lao has been awesome. She was very understanding to my request and worked on my behalf with management. Em is kind, professional a great listener to the needs of others. Sofi is lucky to have Em and should retain her skillset in a permanent role to work with Jay. Cheers!

Very disappointing visit. Keith was sweet but didn't know much about the property or the apartment.

Keith was helping and one other lady on her first day of work, both DID NOT have ANY idea about the apartment building. They didn't know pet policy, water drainage on balcony - if I could keep plants wihtout trays. He didn't know square footage for the unit he was showing. Didn't know where the hot tub was, or building had a hot tub at all. Never said anything about trash cans/ trash chutes if any. Didn't know right way to the said apartment.

I had a few questions and he said manager will call me.
I am not sure whether to recommend the place but not a good first impression.

This is gonna be the one and only review you need to check. I lived here for 13 months. And I have a friend who lived here for almost 3 years, he is happy as well. The name of this apartment was still '251 Brandon' when I moved in.

This apartment is one of the newest ones in north San Jose. Check the following checklist for my reviews on all different things. But first note: This apartment has only one building. North park and Riverview are owned by other companies. And only this building was owned by 251 Brandon. Later the ownership of this property changed to the company behind Riverview, and they change the name to Sofi Riverview. Most things should still stay the same, but they might also change some policies.

Value (price) - I chose this apartment as it was one of the best value in the North San Jose area, at least in 2018 and 2019. It was not cheap, but it was a good price in that area. The amenities are good enough for me. I won't complain about the plastic bath tub, to me it's not that bad. I know some people have a really high expectation on what they get. You don't get a five-start hotel suite, but you do get a quite, secure, and comfy apartment.

Util Charge - Not that scary as in some other reviews. Around $40-50 monthly (water, etc), plus electric ($25?) and internet. It's normal in Bay Area.

Noise level - Good soundproof. TLDR, very quiet community and surrounding environment. My neighbor used to play very very loud music, but I can only hear some of the bass. Just ask them to turn down a bit will solve the issue. This is good enough for me, as any normal music play or party won't disturb your neighbors. Airplane noises do exist, but very rare, and not an issue at all I would say. Streets are super quiet for 99% of the time. The only problem I can tell is that if someone's talking on the street loudly, even if you are on the 3rd or 4th floor with windows open, you can somehow hear it clearly.

Parking - Easy to get additional parking spot. I know some apartments have super long queues for additional parkings, but not here.

Security - Good. During my 13-month stay, I didn't see any car break-ins, not in the garage, not with street parking. No weird people hanging around. No lost package. Not even one single fire alarm (but they do exist).

Staff - Reasonable, friendly, and helpful. Fix items might take some time when they are busy. But they are quite responsive when I needed help. Move out process is well managed. Move out charges are reasonable.

Anyway, it's a perfect experience for me.

We have been living here for a month now. Everything seems good so far. Onsite maintainance is very quick and great. The community is quiet and peaceful. It is located in prime area with accesibility to all major places. We also have trails and park within a walking distance.

My brother just moved into this place. The area looks really clean and well-kept. Buildings all seem very new and there's lots of nice decorations nearby and amenities. Definitely something worth considering if you're in the area.seems like a fairly quiet neighborhood with many people walking their dogs and taking their kids out.

Lived there for 3 months.was very good, very clean, comfortable and well managed except that my locked bike at the parking was stolen.a dead zone for mobile (just verizon works), and i was charged too much for early leave.
