Sofia Skin Care & Electrolysis Clinic

I went to Sofia for 5 electrolysis appointments, either 15 or 30 mins. I am now going to a different esthetician for electrolysis and I'm finding this to be a better option that continuing to go to Sofia.

I find the electrolysis technique that Sofia uses to be extremely invasive and abrasive to my facial skin to the point that my chin would be sore for 2-3 days after my appointment with inflammation and breakouts.

I also found Sofia's bedside manner to be bleak and not welcoming at all. I didn't find her very empathetic to the fact that electrolysis on the face, is extremely painful.

Her salon is very charming and clean so that's definitely an upside I wouldn't fault her for.

I do believe that going to Sofia helped my skin and hair growth but I still wouldn't return, despite how close I live to her salon. I'm happy that now after an electrolysis session I can go about my day without being in overt pain for the next coming days and wanting to hideout in my apartment until my skin calmed down. Different strokes for different folks!

I’ve done face and armpits with her, everything was smooth and fast. Sofia herself is an amazing lady besides being very professional. Thank you, Sofia!
