Soft Goods reviews
6WOW - Both the couch and the customer service are amazing. Brian is a pleasure to work with, super knowledgeable and super on top of it. He has many styles to choose from, but you are also able to customize as much as you like, which was perfect. He has a great selection of colors and fabrics. I was really happy with the entire process and LOVE my couch - it's exactly what I was looking for and its very comfortable. See photos from the day it arrived. I would highly recommend Soft Goods to anyone looking for a high quality couch. And best part you dont have to wait months to get it!
We just purchased a chaise lounge after a positive experience with Brian from the start. He was responsive with setting up time to meet and was never pushing us to make a decision.
All the details you hear from Brian, you will likely never hear from a big-box store
Save you time - and contact Brian
After an exhaustive and fruitless search visiting all the major big brand shops, I finally found Brian and his brand, Soft Goods. I made an appointment and met him at his home showroom. It was an amazing experience from the start. Brian is incredibly knowledgeable; he answered all my questions and explained details about the materials he uses and the differences in each piece. I took my time and felt zero sales pressure. I ended up with a beautiful sectional at a great price.
I highly recommend Soft Goods for anyone looking for a beautifully designed, well built sofa direct from the manufacturer.
The owner and sole proprietor, Brian is definitely a soft sell. The moment we got there though, he started taking notes about our needs and likes. By the time we left we were convinced that his product was going to suit us, for both quality and price. Our sofa was delivered in good time and installed by him. I'd highly recommend 'Soft Goods' for anyone who doesn't want an 'off the showroom floor' piece of furniture and still best quality.
I recently had a great experience with Soft Goods. I purchased a sectional sofa from them. It was important for me to see the quality and sit on it before buying. So I arranged an appointment and the owner (Brian) was very responsive and flexible to accommodate me. I visited their showroom (in residential area in San Rafael near Larkspur Landing) which was close to me and had many models to see and try. And the view from that house is to die for. I spent quite some time there trying different pieces and got all my questions answered, which was very helpful in the process of choosing the right for me sofa. The genuine desire of the owner to help and not just to sell - made all the difference. It was a perfect combination of quality, price and convenience. High quality (style, size, firmness of cushions, quality and color of material), great price and I was able to have it delivered next day (I ended up buying a floor model). But even if I would order something it is 2-6 weeks waiting compare to 2-3 months in big stores. Brian also recommend a great delivery service, guys were also very responsive and efficient - came on time, wrapped everything to protect from damage, careful inside the apartment, cleaned all plastic and put the sectional together. Overall flawless experience.
Very cool and unique new business. We didn't think we'd be in the market for a custom sofa, but Soft Goods made this a reality for us. Brian welcomed us into his home/showroom, with floor models displayed in each room for us to try out. It was helpful seeing them in a home, rather than in a crowded showroom. We discussed the pros and cons of the various models and fabrics. He then sent us literally thousands of photos of examples from their factory to base our design on and let our imaginations run wild. We came up with a green velvet sofa for our living room that exactly suits our needs and ties together our 1940s house and eclectic mix of furniture. (It even has an inner spring bottom cushion that can double as an incredibly comfortable bed when we have guests.) We could never have found this just off a showroom floor. The price was beyond reasonable and the quality is impeccable. We can't say enough good things about the whole process and the sofa that now sits in our living room.
