SOJO Ramen reviews
15Ramen noodles were hard. Soup tasted like the soup broth made from chicken power and very salty even I ordered less salt. No tea. No human service or waitress came to check on you. I am not sure if Japanese chefs heard all of this or shared this with my friend and family in Japan. I think they will be shocked as me.
Hidden gem - came to this plaza to check out Fujiwara Tofu Bistro but it was closed: 0 so I came here. Im vegetarian and i was pleasantly surprised by there being more than one vegetarian option! I got the sesame ramen and it was delicious - would come again!
More of a pickup/togo place, few seats available, decor is ok, service is good, food is ok. I am a vegetarian, so don't have more than 1 option. But, overall good place for a quick bite.
I enjoyed my Tonkatsu Ramen. The broth had good flavor. I paid e tra to add egg and seaweed. I would suggest to skip the seaweed and pay to add more broth.y husband had the curry ramen but didn't like it too much. The chicken was also cooked different. Kind of Buffalo wings style. But I enjoyed mu ramen and yes I'd go back. Oh yeah, restrooms were very clean and server was really nice and attentive.
Love sojo ramen, my favorite ramen restaurant to go to. I’ve been a customer for almost 3 years and I’m very happy with the food and customer service. Clean place, kind staff, and such a cute little restaurant. I showed this place to family and friends and now they’re hooked onto it as well. Good pricing with a variety of different toppings and noodle choices, along with delicious appetizers. You can order on their Snackpass app and earn rewards or also dine in (I do both!). Definitely recommend supporting this business!
Sojo Ramen is a hidden gem, easily underestimated at first glance. While its exterior may not stand out, it's a spot you shouldn't overlook if you're in search of top-notch ramen.
The interior is charming, though on the petite side. Securing a seat during lunch hours might be a challenge, but if you're fortunate or visit during quieter times, it's well worth the effort. There's no table service; you're guided to your seat by a host, handed a QR code, and you're free to customize your order. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat enthusiast, they've got options for everyone.
I opted for the spicy miso ramen and loaded it up with all the available vegetables and extra spicy sauce. The result was a delightfully fiery and hearty bowl. Surprisingly, the broth wasn't overly spicy, so every bite was a flavorful journey.
Even though it's a bit of a trek from my place, I'd recommend a visit if you're ever in the area, provided you don't mind a little parking hunt.
We were just wandering the plaza and this was the only place open, literally every other restaurant was closed between 1-5, so screw them. Was just looking to find a non sugary place to hang out and just grab a little something and this place fit the bill. It was happy hour and was able to get 3 appetizers for under $15 bucks and what we got was fantastic. We got some garlic fries, chicken karage, and some crispy fried shrimp, everything came out hot and tasty. Next time I'll come for the Ramen, but it was just a nice place to hangout and eat, I highly recommend this place.
Food was overall pretty good. Not much to say about the service because it was mostly electronic. The atmosphere was a bit weird, it had a mix of both Japanese culture with a hint of gen z passion within it
The food is of very little amoujt. No adult can eat full without adding more stuff. Default noodle came without egg or seeweed or any veggie. Only 3 thin pieces of pork.
The noodles are really sub par. We got two different ramen and both broths were flavor lacking. Definitely not worth the food.
Came here for late lunch. To be honest, ramen and chicken karage both were very mediocre
taste and tiny portions. Got tiny 4- piece of chicken karage and its chewy. Not sure if there is anything special about this place. Tried both next door, and trying here was a big disappointment.
The food is pretty average, the cost is average as well,
A small and very clean joint
it is good for a quick ramen fix
One of my new favorite food places, I love the black garlic tonkotsu ramen; the broth is very rich and the pork chashu is premium stuff. I like how the entire dining experience can be contactless, you can both order and pay on your phone
My partner and I love coming here when we’re craving some noodle soup. My favourite is to get the curry soup with rice noodles and less salt. Furikake fries are also great
The ordering system used to allow choosing rice noodles, but last time I went it wasn’t an option and I had to ask the server specifically for it.
Would recommend trying it out for the food, but don’t expect stellar service!
