Thank you to the Solaire team for a wonderful 5 years! The Solaire team from leasing to engineering to the front desk are amazing. The leasing office (S/O to Jeana and David) is helpful, friendly, prompt and have made everything so effortless. The engineering team (S/O to Jamie) keep the whole apartment building running and in fantastic condition. I have never had to worry about any problem in the apartment. The building is very well maintained and the facilities are great. I highly recommend Solaire.

Solaire has been by far the best apartment we’ve stayed at. Allison from the leasing dept.has been super helpful from the time we started our lease. Front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful especially Erwin and Brenda. The building is always clean and maintenance team is a 10/10. They’ve always responded/fixed any concerns within the same day.

I recently gave birth and we received a thoughtful gift from the leasing office which was really sweet. Overall, Solaire has a great location, clean building, amazing staff from the leasing office, maintenance team, and the front desk. 100% recommend Solaire! We truly loved our stay here.

We are East Coast transplants and shopped around extensively to find our new home in SF. Solaire was by far the BEST!

The leasing process was easy thanks to Allison who was super helpful. Once we moved in, we really loved everything about Solaire. The building was always kept 100% clean, the front desk were top notch (shout out to Erwin and Brenda), maintenance was always responsive, the gym and common areas were fantastic (pods for working from home, great rooftop) and the location was perfect (Starbucks downstairs / Grocery two blocks away, close to Embarcadero, Ferry Building, Salesforce Park)! The rent was also extremely reasonable compared to other buildings in the area.

We just started a family and so decided to move away from the city but we would have totally re-signed the lease with no reservations. Solaire is HIGHLY recommended. THANK YOU, SOLAIRE, for the fantastic year!

Visited for a tour of Studios. The building and apartment looked great. The listing was closed before I could make a decision. Jeana (from the leasing office) was amazing in being prepared with the criteria I had shared earlier, and providing me with all necessary information over email as well.

We lived at Solaire for almost two years and it was a great place to be. We chose Solaire because the location was very walkable to everything and to work but we also enjoyed the amenities it offered like the gym and jacuzzi which we used often. Jeana guided us when we did a first visit and she was always attentive and communicative throughout the whole experience. The quality of the apartment and its amenities, the views, the front desk team members and the maintenance team were amazing and they always fix anything you need so fast which I found really great and contributed to our positive experience. I also appreciate the cleaning crew and just about everybody that works there helping maintain the building so clean and well. If you’re looking to be downtown and close to work I highly recommend this place. By the way there is a free bus that takes you to the Presidio and you can take it right there so to us that was a huge plus!

I highly recommend Solaire Apartments. Everything about this community, including the quality of the apartments, the views from the apartments and common areas, the amenities, cleanliness, the neighborhood, and most importantly the respect they show towards their tenants is amazing. The front desk (specially Erwin and Josh), the maintenance team, the leasing team and the management will go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable at home. Thank you!

I just recently moved from NY and I have very positive experience so far. Jeana from leasing team and front desk are very helpful in moving and they quick enough to solve all your service queries.

Pros- leasing office was super helpful during move-in, great front desk (superb), and the location is super safe and close to major public transportation. Management is responsive and act quickly (they check the comments here and would respond).

Cons- potential trash chute breaks down episodes (imagine overdue kitchen waste stay in your studio for 4+ days) and no workaround solution was announced in the meantime, no coffee in common area despite advertisement, these are not major issue but would be good if management can be a bit more proactive and preemptive

Have lived here for a little over a year. Got in on COVID concessions (fall 2020) and it's been a great experience. Special shoutout to Jeana who went above and beyond to help me both secure the apartment and move-in. She's also always willing to answer my questions even a year after moving in.

I had a frustrating move-in experience that was only salvaged due to the great service from Solaire. My movers were super late and I missed my scheduled loading dock period. I called the front desk and they managed to find some time for me last minute and kept things open. Then, Jeana was extremely thoughtful and left me a bottle of wine to celebrate my move-in.

The building is clean and beautiful. The many decks and the roof deck have great views. Gym is pretty decent and not too crowded if you go in the morning or before 6PM.

The location has its pluses and minuses. The minus is the noise from traffic coming off and onto the highway. Also, there seems to be constant construction. On the plus side, it's near Embarcadero and super close to the water. Most importantly, I have never experienced any safety concerns.

Overall, I'm very happy that I chose to live at Solaire and, for me at least, it was a great deal with the amortized concessions. I'm only moving out because I'm moving to a different city, but I'll definitely miss this apartment.

TL;DR:
- Great and responsive staff (thank you Jeana and Josh!)
- Good facilities
- Safe, good views, and good location for walkers
- Some noise from construction and traffic (at least on the western side of the building)

Pro:
1) + 1 very convenience to many offices and public transportation
2) + 1 only 3 streets to the coast and has a view of the bridge
3) + 1 friendly front desk and elevators with access which gives safety
4) + 1 soundproof walls. I can play instruments at night, and no one could hear me.
Con:
1) -1 the fan tunnel in the room cannot be closed or covered. The wind keeps blowing in, bringing dry air and dirty air of wildfires
2) -2 terrible move out service. I cleaned everywhere as I could, I rarely cooked, it's a small studio, David came in and was super picky. He even checked the back of the washing machine and said I didn't clean it. The apartment still charged me $170 for no valid reasons. When I was in new york, the 3 apartments didn't charge me anything for move out. And I used to use cleanout service for just $120 for very messy apartment. Solaire is trying to make moneys when you move out. Just be aware.

Very impressed with Solaire. Just moved out about a week ago, but enjoyed my time the entire time that I was there. From the front desk, to the leasing office, and the maintenance staff, I would certainly say Solaire is worth a look when moving to the City.

Solaire has a great management team (with a special mention to Jeana Morrow and Kazuko Tessien). Jeana makes the leasing process smooth and hassle-free. Solaire's management team handle emergency situations promptly, ensure that the residents' stay is not compromised and will do the maximum they could to keep the residents comfortable. They also have an amazing front desk concierge team and last but not least, a dedicated maintenance team. A safe apartment community to live in SF with breathtaking views and amenities in the middle of the city.

Just moved in. Easy move in, no hassle & worry free because of dedicated loading dock. Great views, great place, great leasing manager (Jeanna)!

So far so good!

I moved in two months ago and it has been amazing. Everyone has been very helpful and the location is amazing. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of David. He's very grumpy and rude and all the residents hate having to deal with him.

I lived at Solaire from Oct 2019 to July 2020 while I was in San Francisco for a fellowship. The location was perfect for me because it was only 3 blocks from where I worked and 3 blocks from Market Street, so there were a lot of restaurant options within an easy walking distance. The Ferry Building is also not that far away, and it has a great Farmer’s Market and restaurants. Public transportation options were nearby with the Transbay Transit Center about 1.5 blocks away and the nearest BART station was about 3 blocks away, which made for an easy walk to catch BART to ride to the San Francisco airport whenever I traveled. The staff was always friendly and helpful, both during my move in and move out when I received orders to transfer to my next military assignment sooner than originally expected. They were also prompt to resolve maintenance issues whenever I had problems. Amenities that I really appreciated were the below ground parking to keep my car safe and the roof top terrace was great for watching fireworks on New Year’s Eve and just a great spot to go and relax with an awesome view. There is a Starbucks next door to Solaire so it was really convenient to order ahead and go downstairs to pick up. Overall I enjoyed living at Solaire and would highly recommend it.

Jeana is the most amazing leasing consultant. She made me feel so comfortable about moving across the country to the west coast. The staff at Solaire are so thoughtful, respectful and caring!

LOVED living in Solaire! Starting from the staff which are so welcoming and super helpful to the spectacular views and the beautiful apartments, there is no need to look further in SF. I loved how I came home and went down to the amenities floor and enjoyed complimentary yoga. I feel that in Solaire there where many places you could go within the building that made it super nice to live there. Special shoutout to Lucy in the front desk and David in the leasing office who went above and beyond.
