Super happy with our install. Solar is a big investment and has a lot of intrinsic complexity, Josh Clark and the whole SIG team worked with us start to finish to get our system setup well ahead of schedule. We got a few quotes and SIG wound up being the lowest cost for the most attractive system. A week in to running the house entirely off solar and we couldn't be happier.

I wish we could receive a call back to get our system to pass inspection and to resolve our issues. I have asked for an owner to call me, but apparently they are to busy. It has been weeks.

As a follow up, their subcontractor that did my pool thermal installed the system so badly that it is nonfunctional. I have had multiple vendors review the system, and it needs to be completely replaced. I have tried for the past two weeks to get a call back. This is the same issue as before. No one responds and Stephen Kerr, the owner, never responds.

From start to finish a very professional experience. Josh Clark is a very nice, informative guy. He answered all our questions and made sure we were very comfortable with our decision to go solar. I am very pleased with our decision. The team that came to install our panels and battery were very efficient and a very nice group. Brett made sure I was kept informed and Rodney got everything working perfectly. Our panels were only on a few days when the grid went down from Sonora to Modesto and we didn’t even skip a beat. We had power the whole time. I am thrilled we finally got solar and from a reputable company. One of my favorite things is that the panels are made in the U S.

This company has to be the most informative and professional solar company in the area. I was introduced through a co-worker and I'm glad I went with SIG. Josh Clark had to educate my wife and myself about the benefits of getting solar. He has a great professional attitude, was respectful in my home and answered all our questions from the start of the project, to the finishing touches. The installers were professional and fast, not a single screw or nail left on the ground after the project. Our experience with SIG was phenomenal. Our main contact was Josh Clark and he made the whole process effortless. There was no pressure. Josh came to our house and went over everything. He told us all about the company and that everything was made in America. This was a huge selling point. He educated us on the product, installation, and financing. Josh and his team were able to beat the PG&E deadline of April 14th and they only had 2 weeks to get the paperwork done. By April 27th the panels were installed. Two days later someone came out and got us up and running. Josh and SIG did everything, all the PG&E paperwork, and permits with the county. Josh was always available to answer all of our questions. He responded quickly by phone, email or text. We are extremely happy with everything and everyone at SIG. We tell everyone we can about SIG and their excellent product and service. Had a great experience with SIG! We had talked to a lot of solar companies and SIG were by far the most professional, and trust worthy team we went with! Josh Clark, was one of the first people we spoke to in regards to getting solar and he continued to stay in contact not only during the paperwork/installation process, but even after to see how it was fitting our needs! We were having a little problems with paperwork on PGEs end but Anastasia continued to fight to get our paperwork through and get our project started! Within a couple of hours of posting this review, my rep Damien Fernandez reached out to me and was willing to do all he could to make things right. He called the office and they sent me a copy of my solar agreement details right away. Also, on 5/31, a SIG solar tech came out to my home to install the last breaker that was needed to get my system started and up and running. I appreciate the efforts that were made to solve our issues. I do wish it wouldn't have taken this review to get a copy of my solar agreement but we can't change the past. Due to the remedy in the issues I had, I'll be upgrading my rating from a 3 to a 4 star.
-ORIGINAL REVIEW: 5/24/23 My rep was Damien Fernandez. He was very informative and genuine upon our initial interactions at the almond blossom festival where we stopped at his booth. However, we have some issues that weren't resolved and it's disappointing considering we spent so much money on this system. We never received some sort of receipt for the project. When I requested this from Damien, he asked for clarification and I told him I wanted to know what I was paying $73,000 for. A simple receipt that would say something along the lines of (panels $50k, labor $20k, permits and other misc costs $3k). So he told me that they don't provide that because "no company provides info to customers regarding how much they're paying for the materials from the manufacturer and how much their mark up costs is and how much the customer ends up paying for it". That wasn't what I was asking for, and of course not something I'd expect any company to provide. I just want to know what I'm paying for. That was back in February and here we are 3 months later. I got the run around of "the office will get back to you", which they didn't. Today is 5/24/23, our system was installed on 5/3/23 and we're still missing a breaker (should be installed next week) and the 'Emphase' app to monitor the usage/output isn't working. Overall, the initial consult was great, the installation/installers were extremely professional, it's just the follow through that has left a sour taste behind. If you're wondering how they have so many reviews, it's because they have their reps compete with each other on who can get the most reviews. So they haggle the customers over and over til they get your review. I purposely avoided reviewing because I didn't want to leave any negativity, but I was contacted about 4 times to leave a review, so here it is.
