SolarCraft was very helpful in sizing the system. They had estimates on what future appliances would consume. I can't comment on the accuracy yet but at least they were able to model it where others wouldn't. They were also flexible in when we'd install the system. Installation went very smoothly although the communication and recommendation on the battery placement could've been better. Overall, I'm happy with the system and SolarCraft's service and I'd recommend them.

I was very happy with our experience with Solar Craft. Very professional capable crew the whole way. I live in Larkspur and wholeheartedly recommend them to install your solar system and battery. Taylor was great in the quoting system, then the guys like Talon and Lee in the electrical and battery install. Really complex work but they made it look easy. And even with a change last minute they pivoted and made us happy. Thanks again to all of you!

We initially met with David Berry in our home to discuss power usage based on provided monthly PG&E bills. His presentation was thorough and provided knowledgeable answers to our questions. We never paid a penny over the original estimate. Throughout the project we were kept informed by Janell Azevedo regarding installation scheduling which was challenging due to the heavy rains during the first quarter of 2023. The install team were very professional and on time; we knew immediately we were in great hands! Once the install was completed and signed off by our city inspector we worked with Chiara Rocciola, NEM Administrator, who worked directly with PG&E to get final approval to turn on our system.

When hiring SolarCraft, be aware that they do not offer any warranty on any of the equipment such as the panels and inverter they are selling you. There is a manufacturer warranty on those items, but it is essentially a non-existent warranty, because in order to claim it, you would need to spend thousands of dollars first with SolarCraft to produce the proof to the manufacturer that the panels are actually defective. As a customer there is no way you can produce those measurements on your own. The only option you have at that point is to purchase new equipment - on your own dime and being charged full cost for installation by SolarCraft! In the beginning of a solar install everything seems fine - until and when something goes wrong with any of your equipment!

SolarCraft is an outstanding, locally owned and operated, independent solar designer, installer and servicer. I highly recommend SolarCraft, and have recommended them to numerous friends and neighbors over the years. They have installed solar on both of the homes that I have owned in Marin County, and I am 100% satisfied with the work they've done and service they've provided over the course of nearly a decade since I first worked with them on my home in Corte Madera.
