Happy Camper,
Dr. Chung is far and away the best of the many acupuncturists I've worked with. She incorporates reiki, herbal medicine, suction cupping, and compassionate but persistent recommendations for dietary and lifestyle changes makes for a thoughtful and thorough course of care. And when it comes to needles, she is both gentle and comprehensive. Plus she's a genuinely warm and caring person, funny, and fun to talk to. Cannot recommend her strongly enough!
I can't say enough about Dr. Chung. I first started going to her for menopause issues. Between a regimen of weekly acupuncture visits and herbs, I started to feel like my old/young self again.
I also developed some very debilitating plantar fascitis, and was going to physical therapy through my podiatrist. I told Dr Chung about it, and she started to treat my aching feet as well.
During the time I was seeing her for my various needs, our dog was diagnosed with cancer, had surgery, and was given a prognosis of six months. Dr. Chung told me that there are great cancer fighting herbs that a dog can take, so I started the pooch on them. Hazel, the dog, lived another 4 1/2 years, and her cancer never came back. Was it the herbs? I'd like to think so.
Dr. Chung's bedside manner is probably the best of any healthcare professional I have ever experienced. She's knows her stuff, explains everything, and makes you feel good about taking care of yourself. I can highly recommend her for your Eastern healthcare needs
I had acupuncture with Dr. Chung and I loved her office. It was clean and bright and welcoming. She has a gentle touch and explained everything as we went along. Who knew that having needles in you could be so relaxing? Afterwards she set me up with some herbs (I’m drinking the tea as I write this and it’s delicious) and gave me so many great, simple lifestyle tips for my affliction.
I am looking forward to my next appointment, some Reiki and maybe even Microneedling!
Dr. Chung is exceptional. I have been seeing her for years and her treatments are the only thing that have kept my carpal tunnel under control. I have seen her additionally for a muscle tear in my groin, a low back sprain, and a pinched nerve in my shoulder. She is incredibly conscientious in her attention to her patients, listening carefully to what you have to say and carefully piecing together a bigger picture with what she learns from her physical examination of you. Her knowledge is extensive. Her cupping and needling techniques are not only effective, but she has Such a light, gentle touch that both my parents were able to overcome their fear of needles and skepticism of Acupuncture and have derived great benefit from her treatments. My mother especially is sensitive to any kind of pressure because of her fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis and Dr. Chung is the only medical provider who has successfully returned to her some prolonged increased quality of life. I highly recommend her.
