SolarMax did an outstanding job in handling our solar project. From the beginning to the end every SolarMax employee handled themselves professionally and courteously. The project took less than 90 days from contract signing to PTO and was seamless. I highly recommend SolarMax for any solar installation project.

Install went ok until the end, i do still receive an electric bill.i think the system may be too small.but the thing that bothers is that after reaching out more then once to them i have yet to receive the simple courtesy of a final walk through, even over the phone, of my system.i did spend well over 30k.i was promised a phone ap that will allow me to monitor the system. So after four months i still cannot monitor the solar panel performance.

Dan is the absolute best with Solar! He worked with me over several months to assure me of the technology and the value in pricing of SolarMax. I needed a new roof as well as a new patio cover installation before my solar could be installed. Dan made sure I had the time I needed and even helped me coordinate with my contractors to get the job done right and on schedule. This is the second time I have had solar installed on a home I have lived in so I am very familiar with the process and I was very comfortable with Dan because he maintained transparency. There was an initial expectation of additional costs due to electrical box modifications for my home, however that was later determined not to be necessary and my installation cost was reduced. Every time I called or emailed the office I received a quick reply and was happy with the entire team! If I ever need Solar again I will definitely turn to Solar Max!

Great company to work with! It took about 45 days from start to finish - they kept me informed the entire process. After getting several quotes; SolarMax had the best pricing and I could not have been more pleased with the level of customer service I received. Communication is so SO important to me and SolarMax and my sales person, Dan Cooley, communicated with me during the entire process. From our very first impression of Dan Cooley, to installation, to power to operate our system, SolarMax has not disappointed. Gotta say my negative electricity bill solidifies our decision to purchase solar! Bring it on SoCal Summer, we are ready for you

Very satisfied with my solar system! Dan was great to deal with. And even when we had a small issue customer service was quick to handle it. I wish SCE would have let me build a bigger system. I love not worrying about the AC running. What a great investment

Our sales rep, Dan Cooley, was a total professional for our solar project. He was hands-on throughout the process. Everything from our first meeting until the project completion was totally stress-free. It's been eight months since our completion date and we needed to comment on it. We are having some work done by another contractor in our backyard and the difference in how we are being treated is amazing. Thank you Dan and SolarMax, you've spoiled us for sure!

Caught a major attitude from a woman on the phone, in some odd accent too. Not Spanish. Not Asian. Name slips my mind. I have a few small homes I'm flipping, and a cost analysis would have been great for each home. This lady was very obtuse and didn't care about ME or my "tiny" house until there were SIX OF THEM. I was told by someone that i can deal with Andrea instead but I'm not interested in this any longer.

Horrible company. They sized my system improperly so now i have a utility bill everymonth ontop of my solar bill. Install looks terrible too! So uneven. Spend a couple extra bucks to go with someone who cares.

This company got my number and proceeded to call me for two years asking for a Juan Machaca, then sold the number to telemarketing companies who still call for the wrong name guy. Always hung up when I tried to explain the error. Lame staff

The system tthey installed works fine, but they dont care about the appearance of it or what the customer thinks of it, i would not recommend

The best decision we ever made was put Solarmax on our desert home! I never worry about running the air all the time. Our electric bills are a fraction of what they were.
It was easy from the beginning. Great salesman, installers and customer service.
I would highly recommend Solarmax!

My husband and I heard all these great things about Solar but didn't know who to use or ask questions, I remember our friend Darvin Traylor was working for Solarmax and decided to contact him. Well, it was the best thing we ever did. It has cut our utility bill in half and we have a pool and two AC units. The customer service and installation was fast and accurate. I am very pleased with our solar unit and would do it again with Solarmax.

Stay away.very unprofessional company.

It seems the reviews are fake or paid!

Solarmax installed a system for me in December. After 3 months half of my system stopped working. Fuses start blowing off. Online tracking showing me errors. This is a fire hazard and no one is taking care of it. There is NO customer service.

SolarMax. Why nobody, despite many concerning emails and phone calls has not contacted me? You guaranteed my system, why are you not honoring it? It is 3 month now and no fix for a very hazardous situation.

Marvin, the sales person, deserves a 5 star review! Yes.he could sell me a bad system! You know your job!

I hired a lawyer and going to take legal actions. If anyone here has problems with this company please contact me so we can have stronger case.

I do not recommend this company. Do not put your house and family at risk.

After reviewing multiple options, my spouse and I chose Solar max to install our solar panels and start us up on solar power for our home. Pete Herrera, our initial contact and consultant, was very knowledgeable about the system and was there for us throughout the process. All of the workers and engineers who were instrumental in installing our system were knowledgeable, patient with our questions and easy to work with. They were all quite efficient and worked very well as a team. Our system was turned on today - about 7 weeks after our first consult and we are very happy to have worked with such a great team! Thank you all!

Rotten after sales service. It takes them more than two weeks to schedule their crew to come out and remove solar panels so my roofer can fix the roof leak caused by the panels stands being drilled thru the roof to secure the panels in position.

Excellent!
Much better experience than SolarCity which I found to be hard sell, expensive and deliberately mystifying.
Solarmax was 20% less expensive for 10% more power, much easier to work with, much more knowledgeable throughout the ranks for employees, etc.
Now that I've been living with the system for 6 months I can definitively share that they absolutely delivered and I'm thrilled!
