Perfect place to spend an afternoon. All the staff here were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make it a wonderful experience here. I proposed to my girlfriend here and the staff all put together something and made it such a heart warming and memorable experience for the two of us. We will certainly be visiting again soon!

I’m from Monterey/Carmel and have been to a lot of amazing wineries… but honestly none compare to this one. Their wine, the service (Edmundo,) everything was just fantastic. 10/10 definitely recommend this winery to anyone that wants to get a fantastic wine tasting experience.

I've enjoyed every visit to Solitary Cellars, even when they were on the other side of Madera (off the 99 with ApCal). Their current location is so nice! Love all the trees and garden like feel. I've actually only been to 2 live music event nights here and had a great time. Always friendly and fast service when buying wine and the grassy area is a great place to enjoy wine and snacks and music.

Was left alone for 45 mins.was seated in a far away and forgotten table and got showered on by the tree droppings. Wines had a monotonous flavor and the charcuterie board was pretty so-so. Just wanted to leave after wine 1.

First time visitor. Muffy was our host. She was amazing. Loved her service and the music. Reasonable pricing. Will definitely be back.

Brandon is great he makes the place alive. The wine is spectacular! All of them. Awesome place to be don't wear perfume the bees love me I smell like a flower lol

Nice science view, clean, good location, quiet. Enjoying the and fresh local fruit and snacks. Also U pick fruit at the back from Friday to Monday.

Poor service came to cigar event and forced drink out plastic cup but was offered to buy one their wine glasses by management if wanted a glass stemware! Great way to treat your members!

Solitary Cellars has awesome views both on the Mountain View side and on the Fountain view side. Their wine blends have great names and are very tasty.

Really love this winery! It's such a beautiful spot. I could sit here all day, drink wine, and hang out. The staff is all great, but my favorite is Sierra! She is super friendly and always really helpful in helping me find the perfect bottle of wine. Can't wait to go back!

I can't wait to visit Solitary Cellars! Your staff member Muffy was so VERY helpful as I decided on four bottles of your fabulous 2018 Syrah. Because I had to have them shipped to my home here in Salem, OR, I needed to choose carefully.and she was courteous, fun, and steered me in the perfect direction. Now my only problem is trying to save them for a special occasion; we've already had two of them and they're superb! I swear, the next time we're in the Central Valley, we're headed your way!

Solitary Cellars is one of the most inviting and unique wineries I’ve found. The owners are retired correctional officers with a love for wine and people. Their new location is absolutely stunning, inside and out. You can find live music on the weekends, friendly & knowledgeable staff, a historic prison museum, and of course- amazing wine! 10/10 recommend!

Such a beautiful place! Enjoyed a great afternoon wine tasting and laughing with friends. We were lucky enough to have the BEST server Sierra. She was very informative about the different things they had to offer and ensured my glass was never empty! Will be visiting again only if Sierra is our server!

Wow! What a venue! We came out to listen to music last weekend and it was delightful. The large trees provided shade and we had outstanding service by Muffy who was very knowledgeable about the wine and very attentive. We started with a very refreshing Alborino and finished with a variety of red blends. The Barbera is a nice light red that is perfect for red wine lovers in the heat of the summer. If you have not visited the winery, take the time and make the visit. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Owner was really nice, talked to us about the food and wine expo he attends and the museum was pretty cool. The reds are really good but my wide likes the peach mango champagne.

I have now gone to solitary cellars many times and each time I am met with outstanding service and really great wine. The last event I went to there was a dog painting party with live music! The last two times I’ve gone I’ve been served by Sierra - Ask for her if she’s there!

The staff was so accommodating and wonderful! Our party was visiting from a day on the river and we were able to join in. We chose the Red Blend after a quick tasting - delicious! Beautiful seating both indoors and outdoors. They had a live band on the grass for the guests as well! So much fun, we had a great time. Thank you!
