Solvang Village Square reviews
16We arrived on a Tuesday in January. Basically nothing was open. Very cute. Quaint. Did have a beer & a sausage before heading up the PCH.
Love how traditional Danish buildings in this town has brought me out of America for at least 2 hours. You will feel like being transported out to one of Nordic countries in a snap. While almost the whole area is all about retail therapy because it is literally an outdoor mall, the feel of wandering around was worth the penny The place has old mission, museums, bookstore just in case you are not really into shopping. This is a must visit place if you are having a trip thru Hwy 101
Good place to visit and get some coffee or ice cream!
Danish pastries are also pretty good!
Great place to visit to get away from the busy city.this place has any stores to browse and more then a few places to grab a bite to eat.don't forgot to grab some pastries before going home.
It's a great town it, and I just love walking through and seeing all the different stores. The bakeries Etc
A nice relaxing getaway. A MUST stop at this bakery. The sandwiches? Are DELICIOUS The bread, pastries, and cookies are the main reason why people come to Solvang. Great customer service ALL the time.
Beautiful place.local business and cute little town. It's all looks American to me. I dont know why people called it danish town. Only the resturent and store name are danish.

To see that place you need just a day, but to enjoy, having fun, being with friends, eating and buying stuff we need two or three days in this magical place SOLVANG VILLAGE!
A fairy tale is that gold that glitters with fire in children's eyes. (Andersen)
To touch Denmark, it is not necessary to travel outside the United States, as the Danish town of Solvang is quite suitable for this place. The city was founded by Danish Americans in 1911.
