The Milk Tea soft serve was so thick, creamy and milk-tea-y - and also lactose free? Which is great because I wouldve gotten a tummy ache other wise. I also got the Taro Taiyaki on top - which paired really well with the Milk Tea flavor. Although my soft serve came out really fast - I got it and finished it before our order of 2 Taiyaki came out (and Im a slow eater). We waited forever for our Taiyaki - and it wasn't even a busy night. They were fresh and delicious though once we got them.

Ice cream is not overly sweet. But this is my new favorite - horchata flavor! Yum, yum, yum where have you been all my life? I love that you have sprinkle choices and have the option to use their freshly made fish-shaped cone filled with flavored custard of your choice.

Have been wanting to try their Ube soft serve for weeks, and I finally tried it plain and was sadly disappointed. The purple is such a deep, rich color, but the Ube flavor was so lacking that it literally tasted like I was eating purple cream-flavored soft serve. The texture of the soft serve was great, very creamy, but that flavor was so sad. The first comparison memory that came to my mind was, as a kid, eating taro flavored purple ice cream made by Polly Ann, sold at Ranch 99, and that ice cream was SOO full of the taro flavor that I was expecting (and good news is Polly Ann recently said on their FB page that they are coming back to retail stores, yay!). Service was great though. Oh, and decline the macaroon, it was cute but was way too sweet and did not taste good (had to spit it out, it was that bad). Hope Somisomi sees this and increases the taro flavor!

So tasty! The custard as well as the red bean fillings were my favorites. I’ll skip the Oreo filling next time as it was just a single Oreo placed in the center.

Perfect place for a Japanese themed sweet, there’s soft serve and hot deserts, and a mix of both!

We were in a mood for some ice cream & found this place. It's worth the time to stop by. The soft serve ice cream was perfect for the weather. My bestie and I made our taste buds happy!

Leaving this review just to say that their new (?) pink guava flavor is SO GOOD! One of the only times i’ve had something guava flavored that actually tastes like guava.

We tried ube and matcha combination, it's really great! Beautiful and tasty ice-cream.

Tasty soft serve place! Price is reasonable. Hopefully they can allow one taiyaki purchase.

Pro-tip:
-Get a 5 pack and try everything but the oreo (just a basic oreo stuffed in a waffle)
-Come after eating a spicy hot pot or ramen next door to really enjoy to the max

If you’re looking for a sweet and fluffy waffle look no further. Somi Somi can satisfy that sweet tooth with quick, fresh and hot waffles. I can highly endorse the Custard and Nutella options.

Very clean and quick service. Great dessert spot. Nice treat during the blistering hot summer days.

Waited in a very long line to order Taiyaki at 9: 00pm on a weekend. When I finally got to the cashier she said they were no longer taking orders for Taiyaki since it’s close to closing. There should be signage of this rule so people don’t waste their time. Total disappointment, left without anything since I don’t like their soft serve.

My daughter LOVE this place. She and I stopped by from 85° bakery few doors away. We split a cup of guava and ube swirl and upside down ah-boong (fish shape waffle) with red bean inside. Very satisfying. It's so good. So mental! Swirl varies by location. Thankfully this location has guava, ube, mango, and matcha (and other flavors) - which are my favorite either a combo swirl or by itself. These are soft serve ice cream by the way. Must try. Can't eat them frequently but definitely give it a try. Right now it is summer (June-July) and they have guava and mango swirl, another favorite. So give it a try.

We ordered Mango and Pink Guava soft serve and pack of 5 Taiyaki with Nutella filling. Both were fantastic. Love the simplicity of the menu. It’s definitely one of my all time favourites.

Loved it. Pretty cool spin on soft serve with a waffle fish and your choice of filling. My daughter got the Nutella filled waffle fish plain and loved those as well.
