Sonesta Los Angeles Airport LAX reviews
16 Hotel was completely booked. Only one elevator was operational to service all of the guests, so a trip downstairs (even brief) would take you up to 20 minutes just to get back to your room. Additionally, the room cards got deactivated a day early.
Beautiful hotel that I frequent, but this particular stay was a disaster.
If you prepay on priceline, please be advised some taxes are not included. You will be charged taxes on check out. In addition, the deposit is $200.00 per night. It it posted on the front desk.
The rooms are clean, I like the amenities, airport shuttle, and 5 min to the airport! It's a good price and perfectly decent place to stay if you're coming or going.
Yesterday, it was a pleasure to stay overnight at the Sonesta Los Angeles Hotel. Very convinience and close to LAX airport. Shuttle bus is every 15 minutes. Very large reception and restaurants. Room as the usual standard. Very clean and the staff very polite and helpful. The only thing I have to complain about is the very high price for parking the car. $ 40. Century Taproom restaurant very tasty and at affordable prices. I highly recommend this hotel.
Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a room. They compare thousands of booking websites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome:)! This resort is one of my favorites in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down.
Booked last minute due to having a 5 hour delay in Tucson. Staff were very helpful with all of my questions. Very awesome experience overall. Note: they do have a 200$ security deposit that gets refunded to you after you check out.
Unfortunately the front desk staff was extremely disrespectful and NOT understanding. I placed a reservation on two rooms through Priceline.com (costing well over $350 for one night total) and they refused to process the reservation for over a half hour because “Priceline doesn’t process the transaction for around 30 minutes” despite me providing proof and confirmation of the room reservation. ID GIVE ZERO STARS IF ALLOWED. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! Also they charge $195 for a room if you book at the front desk. Scam pricing for a two star hotel.
I've got charged more than what I was quoted. Maybe it was the $15 a day, or whatever fee they want to make up. But they are extremely dishonest with the quotes they give you.
And their parking is extremely pricey.
Other than that, it's an acceptable hotel, with dubious business practices. I'd look elsewhere.
Amazing place to eat! The waiters treat you like royalty and the food was top notch fabulous. Portions are large, so I would share or be ready to take some home.
Clean, comfortable bed, nice pillows and towels. Not the best view of the airport, but we didn't care about that. We were exhausted from our travels and just needed a good night sleep. You can hear the planes taking of and landing a little, but we still had a great night of sleep here! Wish we could take this bed home with us.
Great overall experience just know that you're gonna have to pay a lot of money for parking it was $40 A-day so it's worth it just to go pay the extra add another hotel that has free parking
They don't have cable. I had to tidy up the room when I got there it was alot of dust particles. The pictures online don't actually look like the real place. I can go on but just don't waste your time. Also they put extra fees on after you book. Horrible
Food on floor.only one microwave on whole building and it’s on 6th floor.really random.pricey food. $200 deposit a night? What kinda hotel do they think they are?
To start, get to garage and it’s $24 for in/out access for 24hrs and like $23 for 24hours no in/out privileges. This just seemed just too high. Security deposit was high as well- $200 for 2 night stay and like $400 for 3 or 4 night stay. This was not disclosed at booking and should be! Room outdated and dark- plus was that it had a mini fridge. I expected more for price that was paid. Staff friendly.
Very great place to stay very clean. I was shock by the service and I only paid 98.00 per night. The price is low for the quality place and serivice. I pay 300.00 plus at places that's no where near to the quality and service of Sonesta.
I really enjoyed my stay here other than the wifi I couldn't seem to get connected to everything was wonderful the staff was friendly and extremely helpful and beyond amazing
