3 Dr. Marcus is the real deal. I had some insane symptom other docs couldn't figure out. And I was seeing a lot of doctors. As most folks in Sonoma, there's exactly two western doctors here who have it together and the rest of them are awful. (The TLDR is that's because of a whole housing price issue.) A couple general practitioners around here gave me meds that nearly killed me and told me my symptoms were from anxiety. 8 months later I'm in the UCSF ER and they told me it was these meds. Not that anyone's free from anxiety, but I knew it wasn't that.
But you know who knew way beforehand it was something else? Doc Marcus. He took me seriously and helped me out a ton. I'm on a journey of profound healing and ice come a long way and some of the supplements and advice he gave me have been absolutely necessary. Now that being said, you also have to take your health in your own hands. I'm the one who has to do all the little specific things my specific body needs. I think that's a really important mindset when you're going thru something nuts so I thought I'd state it. You have power in you for wellness. Doc Marcus works with you in a profound way and I owe him a lot. He is such an important person in this town and we're so lucky to have him.
And ladies, feel free to blab about your period issues, he is a great audience for that and is one of the very few men who have anything constructive to say.
I met his wife once so I feel like I can't speak for how awesome she is but she is awesome and she seems very loved by people here and I trust anyone Marcus vouches for enough to marry haha!
I saw Dr. Marcus from 2014-2018 and Dr. Rebecca from 2019 until present. All other doctors I've gone to don't really take the time to listen to how you're feeling and are just so quick to push pharmaceutical drugs to mask symptoms. Dr. Rebecca and Dr. Marcus have been super awesome at trying to find out and heal the underlying issue causing symptoms. They know when to refer you to specialists if there are any other tests needed and act as a great partner in improving one's overall health and quality of life. They are both very personable and easy to talk to and are really the only doctors I trust to listen to me and provide guidance.
