This place employees the most caring staff I have ever ran across. The vet is amazing and the prices are great, especially with all they do to help. I couldn't have choose a better vet or pet hospital. Don't waste your time with anyone else. Thanks Sonora Veterinary Group and every single person there.

Was unable to obtain emergency services for my dog that was hit by a car. My dog suffered a badly broken right rear leg.

My experience was by phone.
My little chihuahua/min pin was coughing and I needed her to be seen. After speaking with staff, I got a call back.
"You can drop her off, we'll do heartworm tests, x-rays, etc etc. The cost will be $600.
#1: No way would I do a "drop off" with my fur baby.
$2: All these tests were NOT needed.

I took my baby to Twain Harte Vet as a walk in.

She had a complete exam, diagnosis (it was 2 abcessed teeth) My bill was $78 including her meds and she will have the 2 teeth pulled in a few weeks.
Sonora Veterinary Group (in my opinion) was price gouging!
I would never recommend them.

My elderly dockson needed to have most of her teeth removed and I was quoted anywhere from $1700-$3400.
I took my dog to Oakdale veterinarian and they get it for just under 900.

The compassion and caring the doctors and staff have shown to my fur babies having been absolutely incredible! I have been taking my pets there since 2003. When I moved here I had a pet emergency, before I could established a veterinarian to take my pets to, Sonora Veterinary Group was the only practice called me back in the wee hours of the morning and met me and my pet at the clinic with in less than 20 minutes! Five Stars is not enough to rate this group of caring people!

This group was amazing as they helped me say goodbye to my Murray. Everyone treated us with the most respect and compassion during this very difficult time. Thank you

I would give way more than 5 stars if I could to this practice. It has everything you look for when seeking care for your furry family members. The kindness and caring of the CSR and CVT staff was amazing, efficient, and informative. Dr. Tara Hodson fixed my girl up for me on a last minute basis after she was attacked by a loose dog. And not only the people inside are amazing, the practice itself has very good curb appeal with beautiful colors painted, it is super clean, and I found the waiting area very comfortable. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone that lives local or is traveling in the Sonora direction.

Reasonably priced. Very aware of your pets needs and don't try to pressure you into getting anything else done except what you came in for. Dr. Bennett is great

Lied in the response to my review, my phone call didn’t get hung up on, I was told they refused to see my cat because they haven’t seen him before. Period. No attempt at all to help him.
Went to Sierra vet care who pulled an 1 1/2in long foxtail out of his eye, I’m so thankful they would see me and my pet on such short notice.

I was new to the area and trying to vaccinated an abandoned rescue cat and this vet "couldn't take on care" for something so simple. Really not impressed. No ethics here.

They wanted a $200 deposit just to see my dog due to her breed. Used to go to this vet all the time but will not be going to them anymore

The vet assistant listened carefully to everything I needed to tell her about my kitty. She asked a few questions and explained what they would do. Very helpful.

When they charge you and take xrays on a senior dog whos way to old for surgery, just to tell you that your dogs too old for surgery but still want your money for something you already knew and then refuse to prescribe your dog non-controlled pain meds when you dispute the price.

I've also never heard of another hospital who forces all your pets to be seen here or no service. My hospital encourages our patients to have outside sources that we can all communicate with. If you truly care about an animals health, and not just the money, then you know the more professionals giving their input on our furry friends, the better.

Sounds like this place was once good.but whoever owns it now doesn't care for your pets, just the money

The staff are great, they care about your pets like family, and they work quickly and efficiently. The pricing is actually pretty good, especially for vets in this area. And they are always willing to answer any questions you may have in a friendly and professional manner.

So we're new up here but we hit the jackpot amazing people so kind. Made a really bad day easier. Thank you for the kindness you all showed
