Carl and his team are very professional and knowledgeable in making an idea into reality. With his help and his team, they were able to design my art sketches into a 3D CAD design and produced a prototype. With their help, I was able to receive a utility patent. I am not entirely done with the project yet and will return to make additional modifications. My experience with Sonos way exceeded my expectations. They developed a toy for my son based on a character he loves and they brought it to life perfectly. I didn't know what to expect initially but took the risk of working with them and boy did my trust pay off! His face is going to light up with joy. I had no idea something this cool could be brought to life so expertly. I plan to work with them again on future toys.

When we started I had no idea how much work, time and effort went in to creating and producing a new product. I should have done more research into the cost and time involved before I began, but I just jumped right in.

Thank you to Carl for being patient with me and guiding me through the process. Also for answering my questions about why things cost what they do, and explaining the process of design, sculpt, tooling and production.

For anyone that is working on a doll, like I did, make sure you pay attention to the pantones on the design sketch (especially skin tone). If you want to make changes later, they will have to make an entirely new doll prototype, which is costly. Also make sure the sculpt is exactly how you want it, because once you approve it, it is final unless you want to redo the sculpt and pay for extra work.

It has been a very good learning experience working with Carl and Sonos, and I feel like I had a full education in product development and bringing an idea from concept to market through this process.

Beyond disappointed working with Carl and the team at SONOS. Carl is the definition of someone who gaslights you to think problems that he cant solve are your fault. They do not work with you or care about what you want to make. I had the prototype he created for me evaluated by an actual product development firm and they felt bad for me and how much I paid SONOS. They were always behind and FULL of excuses. He reminds me of a used car salesman in his tactics. Wanted to sue him but the insane contract he made me sign of course prevents this in many ways, another thing to look out for. They use really cheap tactics and things are done haphazardly. They barely made what I wanted which was a doll with electronics and left it with all kinds of exposed wires (how is this safe for children?) His attitude is horrible and I have no idea why a grown man is in the doll making business if he clearly couldn't care less. He constantly insulted my intelligence (I am a PhD student at top university) and made me feel bad about mistakes he was making. They "lost" the CAD file which upon delivery didn't allow me to make any changes to the doll ever, something about a computer crashing, its 2021 people back up your work. They also make you pay up front, which is a warning sign, usually these places should just make you pay half, and half on upon delivery but I was naive and learned my lesson the hard way.

Overall this place is beyond unprofessional, rude and just awful. Do not use your hard earned money and take your dreams to them because they will ruin it for you. I have had several people contact me who have also had many issues with them.

St Michael the action figure is being created. I am having a wonderful experience in the process and super excited for production.

SONOS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT was hired by me, a children's book author to create a plush toy and design its packaging. I chose this vendor based on their extensive experience.

SONOS PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT failed to meet my needs. They produced prototypes that were incomplete and malfunctioning, it's not child friendly, and they refused to make changes. Moreover, the team's communication skills were subpar, and they struggled to meet deadlines. (6 months vs 4 weeks) The inside material is rough and awful, the stitching is unprofessional, the zipper get's stuck in the material, the head still droops, the logos don't match, the pillow is a pouch, the bear doesn't tuck inside to convert to a pillow, it's flat and you can feel some kind of board inside, the strap wasn't changed to match the bear, the nose wasn't changed to look like a koala, it's not shelf ready or esthetically presentable to license. Overall, it was a disappointing partnership.

This company should be ashamed of how they take your money and ruin your dreams. I am in favor of a class action law suit. I do not recommend them.

The company that made the initial bear, DOES NOT do electronics, that's why I went to SONOS Product Development. If I were the only one, I would say his response MIGHT hold a tiny bit of weight, but seeing there are others with similar problems; There must be truth in my review!

This is by far one of the easiest reviews I have ever written. I was referred to SONOS by a friend. We spoke with Carl and told him our idea, sent a concept and it took off from there. As I was explaining our idea, he caught on right away. I love that we have a say in every step of the process which is important when it's your design. If there are changes, updates, or corrections they are done and submitted on a workflow platform (which is wonderful, I now use it in my company).

It is important to stay connected on the platform (easiest way is to download the app) this way you will see the changes and updates. Carl and his team are AMAZING! They are easy to communicate with, patient and caring. The work they put into my vision is incredible. Watching the process of my vision go from intangible to tangible is humbling. Thank you Team SONOS you ALL are incredible.

What a terrible experience and its all my fault for putting trust in the owner Carl. I think the writing was on the wall when he always brought up failed projects, but I chose to ignore it and hand him thousands of dollars to help design my vision of a walking cane. Several months later, with many excuses and way past our contracted deadlines, he tells me he's just not interested in the project anymore and hands me this embarrasing rendering. Ive never heard from him again. Simply put I do not trust him.

I contracted with Carl at Sono Product Development to create a prototype for a baby doll in July 2020, not only have we missed every deadline, but I still DO NOT have a COMPLETED prototype. I paid over $8K, in advanced, as I was advised, to have phases run concurrently to assure an ON TIME production for 2020 Christmas Season, TOTAL JOKE!

When I FINALLY received the SAMPLE prototype, in February 2021, I was so disappointed, not at all what I expected. Addressed all of my concerned with Carl, who in turn, attempted to sift an additional $8K to fix what should have been done initially. When I REFUSED to be pay an ADDITIONAL $8K, and simply requested for the project to be completed, NO ADDITIONAL CHANGES, just complete what I PAID FOR, like sow the hair on the baby doll’s head, HE STOPPED COMMUNICATING! Have left messages, sent emails, NO REPLY and still NO COMPLETE PROTOTYPE!

At this point, I just want a refund or I will have to pursue this matter legally.

Carl and rest of the team working on my DOLLS are just magnificent! Seeing my vision unfold and come to life is just AMAZING to me! I’m in awe of seeing my vision come to life. Although my project is not complete I am at the finish line and excited about my new company’s beginning and this is but the first doll in my collection of dolls to be done by SONOS. I will use them for all of my dolls if my end product is anything like the beginning.

Working with the Sonos team over the past several months has been amazing! I have really enjoyed seeing our rough concept drawings come to life. The attention to detail as well as craftsmanship is second to none! The project tracking system deployed by Sonos made it very simple and easy to monitor the progress of each project milestones and facilitated two-way communication for a fast transition through each stage of the project. We have found our Design Team!

One star for my product manager who was really good and then she left. The concept drawing was great! And unfortunately nothing after that was any good. They were positive and encouraging till they got the money for my project $10700 AU -then small amount of work well and truly exceeding their own contract time. When bringing up my contract with them.nothing? No replies? When my project manager left - Carl quickly finished my doll which is hideous and looks nothing like the 15 or so photos provided (my child). He was rude and obnoxious. The doll looks nowhere near as good as other dolls on the market even though he told me the same people made the doll and had told him it was as good. The doll is supposed to look like a 4-5 yr old not a man. SEE PHOTOGRAPHS BELOW? Some people in Australia that I know also had major issues. Do your research on these companies.an American solicitor also advised me. Very unhappy on something that was supposed to be a happy journey for myself and my child.

I am so lucky to have found SONOS Product Development. Carl's ability to design and problem-solve really took my product to the next level. His ideas were truly brilliant. He works quickly and is very dedicated to your project. The moment I had my first functioning prototype in my hands is a moment I will never forget. As we are now working on fine-tuning, I am confident Carl and his team will get me to where I want to go. I am excited to start working with SONOS for my packaging, website and MANUFACTURING! Carl is not only smart, he is personable and encouraging. After receiving a hundred "No's", he said, "Yes! ". And then delivered on that. Can't wait to share my product with the world!
