I got a gift certificate to Sonya Dakar Skin Studio at a luncheon last year and decided to check it out since I had heard so much about her throughout the years. I am so glad I did. I ended up becoming a regular client and Sonya turned my skin around.people tell me I look younger than I did a year ago! I have been so impressed with the quality of the treatments and especially the products.by far the best I have tried, and I have tried them all like Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant, etc. I am hooked on the Omega line and the RetinU. In addition to the facials, I am now getting some body treatments and so far loving them. I really don’t remember my beauty routine before Sonya!

It's no wonder this place already has terrible reviews, wish I had seen this sooner but it is carefully hidden by calling it S Kind Studio instead of Sonya Dakar. She is the WORST. Insulting, pushy, and unpleasant in every way. I had a facial here and she insisted I buy products although I was not in the market for them and she promised I could return them the following week if I was not happy. I was not happy with the night cream at all, it left a residue all over my face and was just awful. I tried to return it and she said only store credit, no refunds. She literally said, "it's your word against mine". Shocking she is still in business, there are so many amazing facialists in LA, DO NOT GO HERE.

Just wanted to update! Since I wrote this review yesterday, Sonya called and said she would return my products if I removed the reviews! Unbelievable. Only if I remove my reviews will I get my money back? Sonya should retire already and leave the spa business to real professionals.

Sonya is by far the best. I came in to get a total lift and face peel before I went on vacation with some friends I haven't seen in nearly 8 years and I really needed something that would make them believe I haven't aged a day. Sonya went above and beyond, I look nearly a decade younger! When I arrived everyone wouldn't stop commenting on how young I still looked. They even thought I had work done and were shocked when I said it was all natural. Thank you thank you Sonya!

If you want good skin, Sonya is the best in the business. She's no nonsense. If you're looking for a facial massage like you'd receive at Burke Williams, this isn't the place for you. If you want a solution to permanently change the appearance of your skin, this is the place. Sonya is working with me to change the texture of my skin by evening out my skin tone, reducing acne without medicine and eliminating my age spots and wrinkles. I've only seen her a few times but the results are extraordinary. I look dramatically more youthful. I love her products as well. She gets 10 stars as far as I'm concerned.

I've been coming to Sonya dakar for several years my skin before had lots of discoloration but ever since I've been coming here My skin looks absoutlety flawless I am on a tight budget but Sonya always takes care of me. I definitely recommend anyone to come here, love love love this place.
