It was the 2nd visit cuz on the 1st appointment the motor oil wasn't in stock which made it a waste of time and money but at least the oil got changed.

Got a letter in the mail & followed up on it at the dealership. They really followed through on their sale prices and I shopped around so I am confident SBT has the best bang for your buck. The sales people were friendly & I have had zero problems with my Rav 4. Love it.

This joint is a complete price-gouging RIP-OFF! I went into this Toyota dealership with a specific problem: there was a hole drilled into the gas tank of my 2006 Toyota Corolla. They wanted $160 just to look at the issue but "promised to add the fee to any repairs. The Representative Alfredo said the tank would cost about $300 but surely no more than $500. After taking 2 and a half hours to diagnose an obvious problem this same representative showed me a bill for $3000.00. They wanted to charge $960 for the fuel tank alone. The same fuel tank that's listed for $800.00 ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE!
No mystery how they plan to keep their promise to apply my diagnostic charge! I got the total job done by a REAL MECHANIC for $300.00.
I Love The Toyota Brand and I think they make the best running economy class car on the road today. I plan to buy a new Toyota soon but will never set foot in this the South Bay Toyota Dealership!

First off they over priced the vehicles by increasing the price by 18%. Second they sold me the wrong vehicle. I purchased a Rav 4 hybrid XLE premium left the dealer and they called me back saying they sold me the wrong one and had the return it. Went back to get my other vehicle. Had to re do the paperwork and pay a price increase on the vehicle. Then I though I was done so I left. The next day reviewing the contract I saw they misspelled my wife’s name. So I went back to have them redo the paperwork. The sales man Daniel messed up on the selling me the wrong vehicle. David messed up on the paperwork he was the finance manager.

Update: This dealership is a total spam. Come here if you want to be charged $500 without the presence of an actual quote sheet. Every single employee is unreliable and cannot hold on to their promises.

Be ware of unauthorized HARD INQUIRY on you credit history! The staff doesn’t seem to be familiar with the selling process and is not professional handling customer’s privacy.
I went in 2 weeks ago inquiring about a Toyota Corolla, and the sales agent kept a record of my DL, ID and credit card, saying that he’ll negotiate the price with his manager and lock $500 deposit from my credit card if the negotiation was successful. Then yesterday he asked for my approval for a SOFT credit inquiry, which I confirmed TWICE with him that it would only be a soft inquiry. I found out later that the dealership indeed requested a hard pull on my credit and it’s now on my account! At this point I did not give consent to a hard inquiry, nor did I agree to finance the car. This inquiry is so unnecessary and most importantly ILLEGAL. I’m calling the manager tomorrow to find a solution before I file a complaint and consult a lawyer. I’ll keep this post updated.

I had the best experience buying my first brand new car. Everyone was very helpful, making sure all my needs were met. The management was very professional and helpful! I would recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership to all my friends and family!

Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff. The premises are neat and clean. Informed of all service performed on my vehicle and for each recommended service, it was noted when the last such service was performed.

The service person seemed genuinely concerned that my vehicle be serviced to bring about maximum performance and recommended when next service should be conducted. My vehicle was handled with care. The wait time for service was reasonable.

I will continue to have my vehicle serviced at South Bay Toyota.

The sales associate Mr. Hudspeth. Was very helpful in getting me the purchase of my Venza. The process was quick and I was very happy with the trade in credit on my Camry and the purchase price of my new vehicle. I will recommend South Bay Toyota!

Bought a new car in here but the whole purchasing process is like a fruad. The sales associate and the financial guy are not honest and genuine. GO TO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY YOUR CARS!

I should give one star but I won’t for their positive qualities like getting my vehicle serviced/repaired same day. However, Redondo Beach guys do a better job. They help wash your car after servicing. Gardena doesn’t do that, they couldn’t even put air in my tires despite seeing the tyre sign. Putting air is free in tyre shops so I don’t know why the hoarding. Something always need to be fixed in our cars at every service. ‍️‍️ Henceforth moving on to embracing Redondo branch.

I had the worst car buying experience of my life here. It is a sellers market; so don't buy a car yet! We spent 40K on a new car and the amount of lies and broken promises to get the car were ridiculous; and we're still waiting to receive the car. If customer service is important to you; look elsewhere. The finance manager is abhorrent and rude wears a Rolex while pushing extended warranty plans and car alarms. At closing he reminded us that we were bound by the sales contract and no backing out. I was expecting maybe a "thank you" for your business see you soon, but he just watched us walk out without saying anything. Even customers who pay in full are treated with zero respect.

Was quoted around $800/monthly at the beginning. Once I got there they wanted to overcharge a ton msrp. I understand wanting to make money but what frustrated me was that they now wanted $1,000+/ monthly payments. Got it down but not back to that initial $800 that I had discussed with them and that's with great credit and a lot of down payment. I agree with others that this toyota likes to upcharge for there own benefit. They definitely don't make it easy.

Really did not think we would buy a Toyota again. My dad got his car here years ago. But in between those years. We had mixed feelings about returning to this dealership. But we gave them another chance. And were impressed by their patience. I guess we're what you call a returning customer.
