Excellent fish tacos, and other kinds, too. An Ocean Beach landmark, best enjoyed if you don't have to park.

Fed a family of 5 at the beach for around 100$, so that impressed me! Husband said the oysters were fire! Had a Friday special 6 oysters for $6, can't beat that! Would definitely try again!

You really can’t get much worse than this place. It took almost a half an hour to even get a water. The menus were so gross that you could have stuck it to a wall and it would have stayed there. We had to get get up to get our own napkins and silverware and later, salt and pepper. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos and they were drowning in some weird sauce. I ordered a burger and it was so dry that I had to order condiments just to make it edible - the condiments never came so I left hungry and didn’t touch my meal at all, yet was not given the offer to have it removed from the bill. Don’t waste your time or your money on this place.

My 1st time in San Diego and this place didn't disappoint! Great shrimp cocktail, coconut shrimp and oysters!

By far my favorite spot on newport for seafood, drinks, great service, and the atmosphere is almost as dank as the views. Plus the happy hour prices can not be beat.

So many tacos so many ways its hard to beat. Birria was unfortunately sold out tonight, which is some of the best around. However, the oyster taco (yep, oyster) has to be tried.no question. Of course the fish tacos put them on the map. Bring a visiting tourist/family member for sunset on the patio, its like nothing else. Serve a good cocktail most the time, though had kust beers this go around as it was Taco Tuesday ($4/taco). Their tap liat can leave some things to be desired as its quantity more than quality for the average SD craft drinker. Though I'm sure sales dictate the leas than exciting options (looking at you Stella, Coronado, Elysian, etc). But waitresses are sweet, bar backs and bussers good dudes and very helpful for all your needs. I hear rest of the menu is fantastic as well but in all the times over nearly 30 yrs it's always been for the tacos. Not mex taco shop tacos, but delish tacos nonetheless.

Almost blew chunks on the beach after eating 5 carnitas tacos. There was a special I couldn't pass up: 5 carnitas tacos for $5 when you buy a drink. Will be back for the oyster special because I love food and I'm here for the pain muahahaha.

They get really busy and the upstairs dining is almost always full. So busy so staff is little slow and they don't come back around.

We had a great time on Taco Tuesday! The waitress was very helpful in picking the best tacos to have the menu. Very recommended!

I used to truly love this place. The food was good. The service was amazing. However, every time I go here, it seems to be getting worse and worse. The last time we went was for our fathers Day tradition. The food was smaller and nowhere near as good as it used to be. The drinks were terrible. The service was slow. Disappointed is an understatement, especially since the patio of this restaurant faces the beach. It is prime real estate.

Great place. Yes, it's a bar. But food is great and well priced. Service was prompt, and the sunset view was awesome.

Local people recommended this place and they were right! Best fish tacos! Also the service is so sweet and friendly. I enjoyed my time there. Thank you and can’t wait be back.

Have been visiting here for over a decade. This place is a landmark for their best fish tacos. Never disappoints. I miss fried mushrooms though. Views are fantastic and service is great!
