South City Station Apartments, South San Francisco CA

This is a great apartment complex. It's close to SF. Things within walking distance: (1) BART station, (2) starbucks, (3) Costco, (4) Trader Joe's. The staff here are also pretty good and responsive. Shoutout to Tommy-when I was moving in I wasn't able to walk through my specific unit b/c it was being renovated and I was out of town. Tommy walked through the unit for me and sent me an email so that I could view it ahead of finalizing the lease. Everyone in the office has been pretty friendly. I haven't been here long, but the area feels pretty safe. The only downside so far has been that the garbage shute filles up like all the time, but they do take away the trash pretty often-I've not seen garbage collect for long periods of time, but hey-I've only lived here like 3 weeks.

Alejandro was extremely nice and he informed me exactly what the issue was with the fridge and how to fix it. He was clean and courteous and didn't take too much time. I would recommend him!

Nice, clean, recently updated apartments. Tommy has been super helpful and made the application and move in process very smooth.

We moved into our apartment a week after our initial tour. This can be a super quick process depending on the unit chosen, but any and all questions were answered in a timely fashion. Tommy helped us so thoroughly during this process. Although we haven’t been here long, we are extremely satisfied with the unit itself. It was truly move-in ready upon the first day of our lease, and Tommy attentively performed an inspection with us allowing 72 hours to notify him of any additional imperfections. He advised us on what to not do in order to avoid a hefty move out fee, so we will be cautious of that. Public spaces definitely can smell as this is a pet friendly building, but we see maintenance working hard to combat this. Our parking space is close to our apt and included in the rent which is nice. Overall we are really fond of this location and the attention we have been paid by all management.

I haven't had any issues here. There's only been a few times when I needed maintenance to come to my unit and when I inquired about when maintenance was actually coming the management team responded immediately.

The management team has always been responsive to me, but especially Tommy. Based on the other reviews, it sounds like Tommy is due for a raise/promo! He is the most responsive team member and even says hi when I see him around the property.

The noise was my main concern as I need a full 8 hours of sleep every night, The walls are actually pretty thick, I don't have any issues with hearing others other than sometimes the people below me but that is what comes with living at an apartment.

I can see the team here is genuinely working every day to keep this place running smoothly and that's what counts. I'd recommend renting here if you want a competitive rate + good management.

Alejandro is always willing to help. He was able to fix my dryer right away. I can tell he has a lot of experience. If I could give him 10 star i would.

Tommy is very helpful with any concerns that I may come across. He handles them with the importance that it deserves and in a timely matter. The team tends to get a lot of heat for things that most of the time are out of their control, but regardless they handle the situations professionally.

Leasing agents where very prompt at responding prior to visit and tour was very clear and informative

Tommy in the leasing office is a delight to work with. He is super helpful and works for for the tenants at SCSA. I am so happy that he is there!
