Took my XL American Bully to get her ears cropped and they did an amazing job! Thank you south Sacramento pet hospital!

The vet there was very thorough caring understanding of my concerns as well as my sick dogs care. And she was experienced, knowledgeable, truly cared about the well-being of my dog, at a reasonable price. Highly Recommend check them out you will be Satisfied.

They are very compassionate to both people and our fur babies. The Staff is courtious and prompt.

If you have unlimited time then this place would be fine, otherwise don't go here. Admittedly, they are short staffed, and I understand the challenge of that, but then they need to scale back services to an appropriate level. I've now had 4 appointments here, but today's will be my last one. Last fall, my dog and I waited 50 minutes for a vet tech to give her one vaccine (we had an appt). Today, we went for a wellness check and vaccines and waited 45 minutes in the exam room for the vet to see us. I have a young dog and she did not handle 45 minutes of hanging out in a tiny room well. We also had a morning appt, so they shouldn't have even been far behind schedule yet. In addition, the front desk had one person there and when I came out to pay she ignored me. Literally did not ask me if I needed help or let me know she'd be with me soon or anything. Finally, when the vet tech brought my dog out from being vaccinated, I just asked if she would check me out so I could go.

Bottom line, if you don't mind waiting then the services were fine (nothing special but adequate), but at least bring a toy for your dog to play with while you wait.

Great vet services, the front desk admin could be a little more personable or friendly. But everyone has lives outside of work, maybe just caught them on a bad day.

The care and concern they give our pets is above and beyond.
We recently had a pet have an injury while we were on vacation.
Staff assisted with a local vet that they recommended.
Later followed up with a call to ensure all went well.

She is always our go to gal when we have an emergency.

Fast, efficient, friendly and great with our old boi. They explained their findings, the options, and beyond reasonable pricing. Definitely our new vet.

My dog has an ear issue. Was able to get a appt fairly quickly. The staff is personable, courteous and answered all of my questions. This is a full service vet clinic, but not a 24/hr emergency vet.

My sweet cat, Alma Luna, ate a strand from a Kings pompom and it was sticking out of her bum. I took her in and from the beginning, she received the best care possible. I highly recommended the South Sacramento Pet Hospital for your pet’s care.

The employees were courteous and took care of my pup quicky. We came in as an emergency because my dog ingested fertilizer. They treated him and kept him all day and he was well by the end of the day. I'm glad we went here.

Excellent care. We’re weren’t planning to spend nearly 2 hours there, however. The care they provide is worth it though.

Prince's office visit was great. Prince loves his Dr.and the assistants. Prince was very comfortable with the treatment he received. He is looking forward to his next visit.
