The refuse center is really nice and the weekly pickups have been fine…For a small town they have it figured out

Just moved here permanently and so had to get rid of a few truck loads of stuff. I found the staff from the front office to the dump site to be polite and professional. The guys that pick up trash weekly are likewise polite and professional.

I’ve never felt so dissatisfied with a trash service in my life. I had several instances where I called to get my trash picked up because they did not pick up when supposed to. When I called, they were extremely rude. I asked them to please come get my trash as I pay for this service and I have trash piling up in my trash cans in my house. They explained they would come to pick up the next morning and were extremely rude. They committed to picking up trash the next morning but did not come either and I never received a courtesy call. I even took a picture proving I put it out the next the day. I would never use them again. Their customer representatives are also very unprofessional and have terrible customer service. Do not use this trash company. Terrible

Come to find out if garbage isn’t picked up on the scheduled day due to any delay, they don’t make up for that day, you’re just supposed to wait until next week or drop it off at the refuse station yourself. Pretty amateur. The folks picking up the trash work really hard and I tip my hat to them, however it’s frustrating when they don’t lock my bear box correctly and it allows our neighborhood bear to tear in to it every time.

South Tahoe Refuse is an amazing company! These guys are out in some of the most brutal weather to pick up our trash. I can’t thank you guys enough for everything you do for the community!

Very reasonable price for two truckloads of electronics doors and even a mattress

They have refused to leave blue recycling bags at my residence for 3 weejs even though all my neighbors were provided bags. I even left a note on garbage can asking for a bag and they didn't. Their response is I can go to their office and pick one up.
