I struggled alot working full time and raising my new born son while attending this trade school. I'm extremely thankful for everything the school has shown me. It was an investment that my family has been benefiting alot from. It's a great starting point for anyone wanting to start a welding career. I highly recommend this trade school.

For anyone looking to learn or enhance their set of skills SCWTTC is the place to do it! I initially learned about this school through some friends. The staff was always helpful and made taking the first steps to enrollment very clear and easy. Now, in less than a year from enrollment, I couldn’t be more glad to have completed the structural program. Through Jessie and some of the other instructors at the school, they’ve helped start a new career with a strong foundation about welding and the field. The different programs offered here at the school are broad and give anyone with or without previous experience the necessary skills and knowledge to land themselves in a new career. With that being said, you only get out what you put in and anyone serious about enrolling should be prepared to be focused and consistent. That’s what will make the difference throughout your experience at this school. Overall, highly recommend this school and will definitely return for further learning in the future!

I did the general class here in SCWTTC and it was really great and learned a lot of new things about welding and improving my skills and the help I got from all the instructors are great and helpful and highly recommend to attend here.

Learned to mig and tig weld here with no previous experience. Graduated with certifications in automotive welding and fabrication in 7 months. Staff is very cool and works with your schedule and skill level. They have many machines/saws/drills that they teach you to use safely and correctly as well as a large work area and individual welding booths for each student. I Highly recommend attending if youre trying to learn to weld! They also administer weld tests for people who have already learned to weld and need to get certifications!

Drove from out of state to attend here. Great school, good work environment, very enthusiastic instructor. I feel like I learned a lot under their instruction.

I am a recent graduate of the structural program. They took me from completely unexperienced to a certified welder quickly. The instructors and staff are the best and are super knowledgeable! They have also given me job references so I can get into the industry. I highly suggest scwttc!

Don't know what to say except I had the most fun while attending the SCWTTC here at Oxnard. Started with no knowledge regarding welding let alone the different variations of welding and its uses in everyday life. Jesse and Jr.really are the best at what they do and they will make sure to properly explain thoroughly until you get it right. The staff are amazing and you'll always will feel welcomed while you attend here!

I signed up with little to no experience in welding and they taught me everything from setting up the machines to welding in multiple processes in just about every position and i got a job immediately after finishing amazing teachers and an amazing school. I'd highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn how to weld.

No other school in a 100 mile radius from me could offer what Jesse at scwttc could offer with all the courses he offers. It took me about a year to complete coming in every day but it was worth every penny. Learned so much about the pipe fitting trade and got my certificates. Very good system that Jesse has going on here and i would recommend it to anyone looking into the trade school route.

I started off with no welding experience at all before applying to this school now I'm confident in my welding capabilities. The staff and teachers are really helpful throughout the process on getting you started. I took the automotive welding program and I enjoyed it a lot. I was able to learn how to tig and mig weld different types of materials and use equipment I wouldn't have had access to otherwise. No need to worry if you have no prior experience just schedule a tour and see why the school has a extremely positive feedback from pervious students.

Currently finishing up the general course at SCWTTC overall a great experience the instructors have helped me learn everything I know now so can’t recommend this school enough

I want to be the first to say that the instructor at this school helped me out so much with the honesty convincing me i could be able to be in aerospace and now i living my dreams at spacex. Thanks and i will never forget the encouragement you given me.

I started December 2021 after weeks of looking at schools for my welding certifications. The school stands out enough to bring students that drive in from cities over just to experience getting taught by Jesse and now I see why. I went in with no experience, and fresh after graduating from SCWTTC I landed a job with Spacex welding.

They teach clearly and concise, and they utilize the time you’re given there from beginning to end. Things are always prepared, I had material consistently ready. All my time there was spent learning INDUSTRY welding standards. I went into my job with an easy transition because they teach you to mimic the field exactly. I did the aerospace welding program and I would return in a heartbeat. The school, the scheduling, and the program is carefully designed to help you progress consistently and challenge you.
If you want professionalism, actual challenge, and consistent help as you go through your journey- this is worth looking into.

Aerospace student: Started with minimal welding experience and left confident in my ability to fabricate and TIG weld. Facility is well equipped and one of the cleanest shops I have been in. The staff was professional and helpful. Jesse knows his stuff!

Came on a whim and was extremely surprised with how friendly and professional everyone was, got everything I needed and more.

SCWTTC taught me several welding processes including Mig, Tig, Arc welding and Dual shield. The staff was always friendly and taught me in way that made me truly understand the course material. My questions would always be answered in way that me think critically and learn what I was having trouble with. If you're thinking about welding SCWTTC is the place to go.
